Wonderful recipe I will definitely try it out, there is one way I use curry leaves for is I roast the fresh curry leaves in two to three teaspoons of cooking oil till they are crisp. Then I coarsely grind it in the mixie and use this powder regularly in dals khichdi in vegetables and also for seasoning chutneys sometimes.

Very interesting. I will definitely try it. Also asking, does anyone have an idea how curry leaves are used for diabetes. I would honestly love to know. And thank you, going to try this recipe.
Including curry leaves in daily diet will help in diabetes. Do look up my recipe on curry leaves powder on Munch and Mull. Also curry leaves can be blended in a mixer to make juice and had with a dash of lemon and salt. Regards Sujata from Munch and Mull 😊🙏
I love the aroma of curry leaves. Despite being a North Indian I use it a lot in my cooking. I will definitely make this pickle. Can I use cold pressed ground nut or safflower or mustard oil instead of sesame. As I use these three oils.

Hello ma'm..thank u so much for this wonderful pickle. The way u come up with so healthy recipes is wonderful n ur presentation is also very interesting . Being a north Indian i never heard of this pickle but I have a keen fascination towards regional authentic cuisines so thanks a lot for introducing this delicious recipe. But can we replace til oil with coconut oil n also i am allergic to imli so how that tanginess can be maintained without adding imli. ? Kindly suggest.
Namaste Gitanjali. So glad that you are open to trying out new recipes.😊😊. You could replace tamarind with half a raw mango to grind with the curry leaves. You could also replace tamarind with one sour tomato or one Amla. Yes,you can replace til oil, with oil of your choice. Regards Sujata from Munch and Mull 😊🙏
Sujata i could not resist and i made the pickle today night and it turned out to be very tasty, tangy pickle and now onwards it will be there in my kitchen.I just also wanted to ask whether we can make gongura pickle (Andhra speciality) the same way because in Mumbai we get that leafy vegetable almost throughout the year, and it is called Ambadi bhaji in Maharashtra. Thanks a lot for giving us this recipe .Stay blessed.
Namaskaram Sunita Suvarna. Thanks. Glad that you like my recipes. Do check out the curry leaves powder recipe also uploaded on Munch and Mull. Do share these videos with your family and friends. Regards Sujata from Munch and Mull 😊🙏
This is YUMMM. A must-try. I make pachadi which is my mother's recipe. Can do it with (pennywort) vallarai also...individually or even mixed with curry leaves. Pachadis are rice pullers as all of us know. Coarsely grind required amount of fresh curry leaves, few green chillies, pinch of cumin and fennel with some red onions and salt. Add freshly grated coconut, give it a quick grind and add lemon or lime to taste. 👌
Wonderful recipe. I’m wondering can you get the curry leaf benefits without making them into a recipe and just chopping them up and adding them to foods?
