I have been following DnD youtube channels for about 8-9 years and let me tell you something: You are doing good content! I can see you have started recently (in this channel, since there are not many videos) but I would personally ask you to not give up. Most of the youtube channel successes come from persistant video uploads. Do not give up or let yourself down by any means and keep uploading steadily please. I would like to see more of your content and you reaching greater audiance. Subscribed, much love
Thanks so much, you're so kind for saying so! I'm hoping to keep up a steady pace of uploads in the New Year, so I hope you'll stay tuned and keep letting me know how I'm doing :)
Thank you for this =) Although there was nothing "non-Jack" in this video, I really enjoyed your style and the way you talked about each part of things. i.e. I plan to do this nigh-exact lol
I'm glad you liked it! Did you check out the longer paper minis tutorial? Between the two, you can basically put anything paper-based on the table. Thanks so much for checking it out!
These are the best things to make for beginners along with dungeon tiles and some basic terrain. I've since taken the plunge and painted up some actual 3D minis but I still like to use paper minis for monsters and grunts. It's so cheap. I. literally made my first paper miniatures using supplies from the dollar store. 😊
Been to the forums Cardboard Warriors or Zealot and Paper Modelers? You and your audience would have a blast getting deeper and deeper down that paper card model iceberg in those places!
Mostly I haven't been on these sites, but I've been on affiliated social media groups, like Cardboard Warriors Facebook. But these are great recommendations!
I can really recommend trying Arkana Tools' paper miniature converter tool. It's tailored to D&D and automates the entire image creation process. You can essentially upload any image, enter the creature's height in ft and it will automatically turn it into a doublesided paper miniature in the correct scale.
Yes! Litko slotted bases in the appropriate size, if you check out my "Ultimate Guide to Paper Minis" video, I go through my bases in detail, I think under the "Supplies" section toward the end, and I link them too. Good eyes!
