I fold envelopes with the white side out so that I do not have to use mailing labels. The pattern inside is a nice surprise when opened. Just an alternative to consider. Thanks for the wonderful videos.

I’ve been told some models don’t have them, which I didn’t know. However as I suggested to someone else you could take apart a regular envelope and scan it into your machine, save it and then follow my tutorial.

I am so happy that you did this video because I had made some cards and no envelopes to fit them. My 8 year old grandson had to make a card and envelope too!! You are definitely my at the top of my list for great instructors!! You go at a pace that I understand and you're very thorough. Thanks so much for taking your time to do all of your videos!!! Great Ashley...I’ll have to see what I’ve got in my machine (I have an SDX1000 - I live in Australia) I make all my own envelopes. I was actually thinking of deconstructing an envelope and scanning it in and making one that way...I never realised there are some built in!!! hahaha 😂 As they say You live and learn! That’s what I have suggested to others who have since told me their machine doesn’t have envelopes. The cm900 and SDX2200D both have envelopes installed

Thank you but a couple of people have told me they don't have envelopes on the older model to this machine, so this may only be applicable to the CM900 or later models.

Someone has said there isn't an envelope on the cm600, but I was sure I had one on my old cm600 machine. It seems very odd because there are several on the cm900. As an alternative you could open up an ordinary envelope and scan it into the machine and make a cutting file, save it and then follow my tutorial on how to resize it to fit a card.

Hi Ashley, I’ve just opened my Scan n Cut, the lady is right there is only one envelope in the machine it’s under the section with the clock/house symbol, the file contains three icons one rectangle shape, one flap shape and a heart closure shape, nothing resembles the envelope you showed on the video. I believe all the icons from the 600 were carried over to the 900 with added extras, it would be interesting to see if you have it in your machine. Regards.

I thought the designs from the 600 were also carried over into the 900 too. But ive made another video today showing how to make a template and I'm going to be giving the cutting file away free so everyone no matter what machine they have will be able to use it and follow my video from Tuesday 10th December 2019. the next video will be live on Saturday 14th December thank you

First off I want to thank you for your quality tutorials. I wanted to ask you if it’s better to work with the online CanvasWorkspace? It looks like it has more features than the desktop. Cheers from Australia 🇦🇺

Hi I tend to always lean towards the web based version, but am starting to use the computer based one more and more. The computer based version actually has more features, you can use your computer installed fonts (which you can't do with the web version) you also have the XY axis in the computer version which is great fro accurately positions things like dashed fold lines, you can work with layers and turn on and off layers to make it easier to work with all in the computer based programme. hope that helps

No mine is the CM900 with can cut and scan at 12x12 and 12x24 and has the wifi transfer. However I am getting a SDX2200 Disney machine that is the lates and has the auto blade technology.

Thank you glad you like them, I’ve never owned a 350, I’ve had the UK CM600. & CM900 and I’ve just got the SDX2200 Disney which has the auto blade technology and it’s a game changer I love it.

Great tutorial but sadly not for those who can't afford a 900 upwards and have the earlier models :-( Only one mock envelope in patterns ) There are no side and bottom tabs to glue together :-( xx

OK that's the machine I used to have I was sure there was at least one envelope, maybe two on that model. someone may come along who still has the machine and tell us for sure.
