I also explain the difference in saving files in the download programme, as you have several options.

You answered my questions about saving files on computer. I just purchased the sdx85 machine and since the screen is smaller than other machines, would be doing editing and creating projects on laptop.

Hi Ashley, Thank you for this video, its great that you can cut that type of material, I have not used that type yet, this saves on buying them. I have made some out of other material, but this seems a little stronger, TFS, Cheers Anna.

Thanks for this video. I stopped designing in this program because I couldn’t open it after all of my hard work...what a waste of time it was. So I started using an unrelated program and was saving them as svg files that didn’t always translate as well as it did on my other machine. I wanted to be able to combine my designs with artwork that I had designed where I needed the scan feature and wanted to combine designs. So, I was jumping from one machine to the other. This little tidbit of information has opened a new potential for me. Thanks 😊

You can buy 10 plastic sheets from ASDA for £1. They are in the stationery section and are the plastic file dividers I use them full size for my stencils and use the original holes for storing them in a file.

Aww I was hoping you would say which pressure configuration it was because mine is a CM model =)

Hi if you use a CM model you can use the test cut facility to get the best blade depth and cut pressure for your machine, the paper settings on the CM blades were not all set at the same numbers see this article here gentlemancrafter.com/2017/02/11/brother-scan-n-cut-quick-tip-blade-holder-check/

I love your videos and think you're an inspiration to get us all to use Canvas Workspace more.Do you have a technique for how to align from corner to corner diagonally easiest. I often find myself missing this. I'm actually happy to use this program. I also use other programs, but fall back to Canvas thinking it can't be true it can't be made in this program. Thanks in advance

Thank you for your great videos. Love how you explain step by step How to do projects. I have a question your Canvas work space is the pc version why is it different to the one I use. I noticed when you save only a small box shows up. And when you choose a color you have pencils. ???

Thank you loved this video. Is there any reason why you make the stencil 6 x 6? This is the first time I have seen the newer machine work so found it interesting how it detects the media. Have you found that it cuts successfully every time unlike the other models where we need to adjust the blade pressure etc?

Hi I tend to make cards mainly and they are about 5.75 x 4.25 so wanted my stencils to be bigger so chose 6x6 no other reason. yes the SDX2200D has cut perfectly every time ive cut, thickish fabric, shrink plastic, card paper, printer paper, laminated sheets, the thinest contact paper, sticker paper, vinyl, glitter paper/card, chipboard all perfect love it. thank you

That was awesome! I also have dx225. I have had issues with the auto blade from day one. Don’t know how to use the pressure buttons. Bought the machine because it has an auto button. Don’t know why?

Hi with the auto blade technology you do not need to touch any of the settings in your machine for blade depth or pressure the machine does it automatically for you

As far as i am aware these machine have a 2yr warranty take it back where you bought it and get them to look at it, the auto blade is brilliant
