Nice tutorial for beginners. I only think that the static grass application is a problem for beginners, because they probably will not have an applicator :)

You could have mixed the 5 mm grass in with the 3 mm grass for a somewhat more realistic effect? Just an option to consider. Personally I prefer a cement/sand mix over plaster, for it is so much more durable. Another option is mixing the paint in with the plaster so when chipping may occur you don't have unseemly white spots. Keep up the great work 👍

Flat Corkboard works great as a base ground cover. it's easy to shape and use for layering.

What ratio of paints did you use?

Could I use xps foam for the base if I don't have expanded polystyrene?

I don't think i've come across gypsum before... what am I looking for at the local hardware store? When I google, I find gypsum mixed soils but not this gypsum powder.

Great video, thank you. Is "diorama building" still a thing on RU-vid? is there an audience for it? What is the average CPM? It takes a lot of effort to build dioramas, would be disappointing if there are no subscribers or the CPM is like $5 or lower.

Don't use model paints, use craft paints!!! Way too much money for paint!
