Donuts

Ingredients:
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 ½ tsp active dry yeast
- 1 tbsp granulated sugar
- Pinch of salt
- ¼ cup softened butter
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup whole milk
Instructions:
1. In a large mixing bowl mix the flour, yeast, sugar, salt, butter, egg and whole milk.
2. Mix until soft dough is formed and let it rise for about 1 hour at room temperature.
3. Divide the dough into 12 pieces.
4. Form the donuts or braid them as desired.
5.Fry them into very hot oil warmed on medium temperature.
6. Coat the fried donuts with cinnamon sugar and serve to enjoy
