To answer the question, stuffing went inside the turkey cavity and dressing is a baked bread-like side. Also I use a whole chicken for my dressing, don't like to over do it on the turkey. But this also looked delicious.

We do our stuffing in a big bowl and add the eggs and water and melt butter and add to it with onion, peppers, and celery and parsley, then fry in a big skillet and we still stuff the turkey or chicken.

The kind of dressing I grew up on is made with everything you have except we put ground beef and pork sausage it’s delicious I no longer eat pork but it’s still good without the pork. It’s a meal within itself with the meat.

gina thats stuffing lol,you did not add cornbread to it,but if thats what you call it,thats ok,sometimes some peoples dont know the difference between cornbread or stuffing,tfs
Should you cook the broth on the stove? should you or do you use the season blend cooked with the broth and then add with a cold broth so the dressing won't be dry.
That's how I make mine without cream never used always made a rich tasting broth that's how my mother made her's she also made it like you with the giblets I don't care for giblets in mine I disregard it this dressing recipe is so yummy I love it I can eat that and nothing else for the holidays 😁 ALL THE WAY FROM THE NATI WHO DEY🐯
