How to Make Easy Kimchi Recipe at Home - Filipino Style
Ingredients:
Porridge - (2 cups water/ 1/4 cup brown sugar/ 3 tbsp glutinous rice powder)
Ground Mix ( 30 grams ginger/ 200 grams garlic/ 200 grams white onions)
1/4 cup - Filipino fish sauce/ Patis
1/4 cup - Filipino shrimp sauce (washed w/ 1 bowl distilled water)
1 cup - spicy chili powder
460 grams - Chinese green radish
240 grams - carrots
1 stalk - leek
6 stalks - spring onion
500 grams - NAPA CABBAGE (soak with 1/2 cup coarse salt for 2 hours)
Notes:
1. 2 to 8 hours Fermentation Time in room temperature. Usually faster in warm countries
2. Can store till 3 months in the ref, best to consume within 1 month as it's less sour
3. Use gloves, airtight sealed container for fermentation
