Then they better start ramping up on the zucchini recipes because there is always a LOT of them; always looking for new recipes instead of one more bread or stir fry (local restaurant puts it in their kung pow, which is really good). Zucchini kimchi seems like it would be pretty great - it's not that far from cucumber, texture wise.

I watched this video and made this recipe the next day. Unbelievably easy and so tasty, can’t get over the fact that the crunch is still in cucumbers. I absolutely love kimchi, and cucumber kimchi is one of the few types that I can make here (cucumbers I can get. Napa cabbage not so much). I actually introduced someone to kimchi last week and converted him into a fan! Yay kimchi!

Give this a try! It was amazing and lowfodmap! Finally able to add kimchi back to diet. Also try radish kimchi! Comment mentioned it and i was amazed. For someone who cannot eat onions/garlic it was the spice of life i was missing

i was at the market today, buying a few bunches of green onions, and the guy in front of me suddenly said "Do you know what Daikon is". I've never heard that word before in my life, before getting hooked on this channel. All of the green onions must have made him think of Aaron and Claire

@MsLele247 check out IBS... it's not just tummy aches. Wasbliterally malnutrition entire life due to no diagnosis. If your stomachs often rock hard and bloated, and also have frequent liquid defecation over solids. You might have IBS. Edit: it's worth checking. Almost 40 and have been 170lb-120lb as male no matter how ate or worked out. Daily tummy ache turns out isn't normal.

Can i sub. mirin for sweet and oyster sauce for fish sauce?

If that’s Japanese food, mirin can’t be substituted because that’s an essential flavor of the dish, but for other cuisines, you can substitute with dry sherry or water with a little pinch of sugar. Instead of oyster sauce, you can just add more soy sauce. That’s still gonna be full of umami, so don’t worry!

This is not super spicy. It just has a little spicy kick and juicy and flavorful. But if you’re still worried, you can totally make it less spicy by using “mild” Korean chili pepper flakes and reducing the amount of chili pepper flakes. 🙌

@@AaronandClaire okay thank you, but I think Paprika or red bell pepper can be alternative for Gochugaru for non-spicy one if we still maintain the red orange color of the Kimchi and since I had a ch0k1ng phobia so I can't eat spicy foods anymore

I know 한글 doesn’t map perfectly to romanisation but isn’t it “wee” or “oui”, not “oy” (like a cockney)?! However you say it I have cucumbers, spring onions and gochugaru and this is going to be yummy.

I actually hate vegetables in general. But I know that my body needs them. So I ate them like medicine. I don't enjoy it, I just consume it for the sake of staying healthy. That is why I like kimchi, they made vegetable more edible for me. I just wish that it can be warmer coz it feels weird eating hot rice with cold side dish. 🤔
