You didn’t have to pour the oil into the bowl. After you put the beads in the jar just Tare it out then pour the oil into the jar. Don’t need the bowl.
It can absolutely be done that way. But if I make a mistake of pouring slightly too much, it is very easy to take my bowl and pour it back inside the bottle instead of risking a bigger spill or mess! Any time I measure fragrance to ensure I get the right amount I use a bowl. For my candles and wax melts as well. Not everyone has to do it my way but that’s just what I prefer just in case I make an error.

The ones with the holes in their kids should work the same! As far as packaging I just label mine and sell them as is, but you could absolutely use small soap boxes, organza bags, or cellophane bags too!

Thank you! My scents in the car usually last about six weeks! Best results are when it’s warm weather. And it’s ideal to place them in a cup holder or under the seat!
That really depends on thickness but that would probably be a good start! The best thing to do is bake them, see if the top looks “melted” but still able to see bead shape. And then let it cool and shake it. If you hear beads moving when you shake it you may need to bake longer!

Not a silly question at all! When I finish with mine, I don’t notice any smell good or bad left afterwards. Personally, since it is so small I wouldn’t use the toaster oven for food afterwards since it is a very small space. But a larger, conventional home oven usually presents no issue for other makers of traditional freshies if you are using it for food afterwards.

In briefly after boiling water(1cup), added 1TBSP gelatin, essence and color of choice. after 48 hours mixtures is in liquid state. Pls guide me where mistake is? local temperature is 40 degrees.
The reason you heat them is because if you don’t, and someone puts it in their car without the lid, the beads will get everywhere and cause a huge mess. Heating the beads inside the tin allows them to fuse together just enough so nothing falls out. You can take the beads and put them in organza bags uncovered too. But I would not recommend those for car use because they’d melt onto the surfaces inside of the car.
