It's always good to have a basic sugar cookie recipe on hand. I make mine ( a little different than this recipe) roll it out with the paper, put in a zip top gallon bag and freeze it. The dough thaws out perfectly , ready to bake when you want

Tessa, Great video. You didn't mention how much flour you use in the recipe. I didn't see a link for the recipe below. Thank you for the snowflake icing ideas. Looks super easy. Can't wait to try it.
Delicious !!! :) I just love your recipes, they are super easy to follow and the baked goods turn out amazingly awesome !!! :) Definitely going to make them for Christmas !!! Happy Holidays :) :)
Hi Tessa, I want to make this cookie dough ahead of time and then freeze it to use tomorrow. What do you recommend? How should I freeze it? I have another question as well: do you recommend sifting the flour? Thank you for the video!
Hi I am Patricia Ireland from India you mentioned that I might win a cake mixer like the one you showed on your how to make snowflake Cooke but I was not able to get to your link thx I will be making the cookes looks great and easy thx
Hey Tessa! Thank you so much for this recipe, it looks yummy! I definitely want to try it! Would it be okay to make this recipe with an electric hand mixer? That's the one I have! Thank you in advance for you kind response! Have a wonderful day!🌻
These cookies are simply gorgeous! I love all the tips and tricks you give throughout this video! I have two quick questions: Are these cookies chewy? (I don't like crispy cookies.) Also, where do you find vanilla paste? Happy Holidays!!! 💜
Not very chewy, most cut-out sugar cookies aren't. They need to be slightly drier so they can hold their shape, but I find these to be softer than most cut out sugar cookies! I find vanilla paste at higher end grocery stores or kitchen stores like Williams Sonoma or Sur la Table.
I am practicing baking cause I am kinda planning on being a stay at home wife and want to worj at my own pace and be my own boss sort to speak lol so yeah I'm practicing best I can
This looks great! I have a quick question though. Whenever I bake cookies they always turn out with a very cake like texture and I can't seem to figure out what I'm doing wrong and I always follow the recipe exactly. It would be really helpful to get some tips because I want to make some cookies for the holidays.
Hi! I actually have a free cookie customization guide that helps you to figure out what tweaks you need to make to get the texture you want! If you scroll down towards the bottom of this post, it's after the giveaway and before the recipe: www.handletheheat.com/make-easy-snowflake-sugar-cookies/

+TessaAriasTV Amazing recipe and vid! I will make my cookies today so I can glaze them tomorrow yaii! you look so pretty with short hair! Merry Christmas and Regards from Venezuela.
I recently got a blue/turquise one from kitchen aid on HSN. It had no bottom coating no rubber padding nothing. After fighting with HSN I gave up,. Its a shame a wonderful brand such as Kitchenaid being besmirched by a giant like HSN. It will ruin the brand which is quality. Bad people working at HSN these days.
