Greetings Simmers!
In this tutorial I will show you some things I have recently had many questions on such as how to extend eaves to make Scandinavian/European modern roofing, making a foundation level Garage (or room) and tiered decking. I also touch on stair manipulation very briefly.
You can accomplish all of this with no mods or CC and with only the base game.
I used the cheats:
bb.moveobjects
bb.showhiddenobjects
bb.showliveeditobjects
No cheats are needed for the roofing or stair manipulation.

Best tutorial I have seen. You slow down the speed build so we can see which items you are choosing and circle the arrows! Most go so fast, even when video is slowed down, it is too difficult to follow. Thank you.

Thanks! Since you can't put a pool in platforms or adjust the height of a pool touching a platform the back deck would have to be done in a much different way and would look very different, you can still use this method and often I skip using platforms altogether because unfortunately, platforms have a lot of limitations.

I hate making this fake garage-basements, if only the basement-garage feature more functional than decorative. I hope Maxis introduce cars really soon

This garage is actually a room and functions, The basement floor was only opened up to put doors/door frames on because they were taller than the foundation itself and the door will work, but there is still a room there that you could put work out equipment, wood working table etc.

Schnuck omg I just noticed it, awesome (I haven’t finished watching before making that comment). If only there’s a workaround where you can use the top floor of the garage as another patio or floor, and not a roof
