How to Make First Impressions, Especially in Open Houses

1) Open houses are one of the most optimal opportunities in the real estate business.
2) Make yourself crystal clear that you want to do everything in your power to serve your clients.
3) If you add value to agents, the agents in your office will start adding value to you as well.
4) When agents first walk in you want to create rapport. Ask open-ended questions. Visitors will tell you exactly what you need to hear.
5) "How can I make the best use of your time while you're in this open house today?"
6) Let your potential clients in an open house know when you are available and that you want to add value to them.
7) Make the owners in the neighborhood feel special and make sure they know that you want to work in their best interest.
8) Follow up, Follow up, Follow up

I love open houses. I most always gain a new buyer or seller to work with. Will add these ideas to my open houses. Being personable, interested, and not pushy wins. Once I had a FSBO listing. Milked so many open houses. Besides selling that house, I gained two new buyers and two new sellers.
