Whoever Anna is, she is one lucky lady to have this potato named after her. This French potato dish is delicious layers of potato and butter, arranged so beautifully and deliciously that you might even feel bad eating them.
This is one of my favourite potato dishes ever (well they all kinda are) but I can’t wait for you to try it at home and enjoy some French spud deliciousness for yourself.
Here’s the written instructions and recipe: www.poppycooks... here it is!

Hey Poppy.. I have a trick for you. Just take a regular FORK, stick it in either end of the potato.. and peel away.. once all is done rotate and finish... about %50 quicker and totally hand safe... get your potato game in order!!!

@Karma-qt4ji

I don't peel potatoes like that at all. I hold the potato in the fingers of my weak hand and put the thumb of my strong hand underneath, drawing the peeler down to my thumb in a whittling style motion. I find it gives me more control and is faster for me. Not a chef, but I did do national service and one day was made to peel 4 sacks of potatoes as punishment lol. That was in 1987 and my fingers still hurt 🤣

@georgeprout42

No, the planet will stop turning, Mount Everest will invert and the sea will freeze. Of course you can. It's no longer the same recipe, it's now you cooking. Add or exclude what you want. If it tastes good to you then make a note, and feel free to deviate more next time if you choose. If not then probably don't do it again.

I might add a layer of cheese and pepperoni on top to make it a pizza. In any case, as my brother in law found out and my future wife is going to find out. In this family, if a recipe calls for taters, double it. Even if that means making a side dish that is only taters.
