This is a great video , I'm going to try your style next week , last year i made a half version of Freddy's house the front half of the house put it up on a shelf with a medium brightness LED light , thank for the upload Definitely worth a Subscribe & thumbs up.
Just stumbled across this, absolutely brilliant. Doesn't have to be 💯 accurate the point is you made this house look like it did in the movie. I may have to give this ago myself. What you could of done is just post the dimensions for us to give it ago. Top work
Thank you!!! Also I never did actual “plans” for it you can head over here www.madebyap.com/2020/10/01/make-the-nightmare-on-elm-street-house-out-of-paper-mache/ - i have some written instructions as well as a link to a One Drive folder with measured pics. I hope that helps!

Hey bro, it was awesome!!! When I was a child , I used to watching Nightmare on Elm Street (by that time, those were my favorite movies), but there was a scene that I wanted to recreate, and this it was. When I watched Kristen, making this house ... idk, but i said "some day, I'll make this one". Recently, I made a Darth Vader helmet and I must confess, I loved the process, I loved create something. And now, I think I'm going to continue whit this house. I'm grateful you have made this!!!
This is awesome. Thanks for the comment and glad you liked the video. This is a super fun and easy build. Enjoy the process! And congrats on the Darth Vader helmet that’s not an easy one!
This was an awesome video! I never did paper mache before, but now i "get it" and I am tempted to make my own house version of it thanks to you... It really does look like the house from the movie! And I love the LED light effect!
You should totally do your house! I'm actually thinking about doing an Etsy shop called "Freddy Your House". You send a pic of your house from all four sides, and then I do a version ala the Dream Warriors one haha. And an empire is born LOL
Wow!!! This was AWESOME!!! I grew up watching Nightmare and Elm Street (Kids don’t know what they are missing) and this brought back some great memories. Loved the cameo by your daughter. She did an excellent job as a quick helper. How long did this take to make?

So I just went through my Amazon past orders and I’m 99% confident these are the ones (especially since they’re the only ones in my order history and the ones from my local craft store were way too big). Hope that helps! amzn.to/3ncIb2m
Hey, so I am attempting this project and I think I got the wrong size sticks. They are the correct length (5 7/8), but look super skinny. They are 5/16 wide. How wide are yours?

If you just measure pop sticks based off the width The house uses common approx 4/2 “L x 3/8 W sticks not 5 1/2 If you count the number of roof sticks from the left you get 10 more like 11 sticks, so that means the right side is 10 to 11 sticks wide same with middle Total it is between 30 or 33 for the entire width 10 or 11 left , center , right it’s 11 because if you look close one stick is missing on the left next to arch, but you can clearly count 10 sticks in place but also 11 sticks = the length of a common stick length/the vertical slats 33 total sticks width also may hint to the Art Department who made the house- the number 33 has Mystical, Biblical and Freemasonry meanings
Wow very cool, love the nod to 33 there. For the popsicle sticks, all I could find were the craft sticks that seemed way too fat and short compared to my reference photos, which is why I went with the longer, thinner ones. In terms of the exact number, while I would have loved to get to 100% screen accuracy for this, there was just no way I had the patience or fortitude to go that route. I'm satisfied with the end result, and it looks killer when on display for sure! And now I have to go do some research on the number 33.
For some reason the powers that be at RU-vid are removing legit comments :( this one came in a couple days ago - thank you for the comment! And good call on the flour/water! (ru-vid.com). "Great work! However if you were looking for a more “worn” look you might have came out better using flour + water, like the movie, instead of glue + water. Nevertheless you’re the man bro..I’m going to give it a try."
@@patrobertson1318 Haha. Well... if you watched the video I actually say that it’s Nancy’s house at 00:52 :). For search purposes I called it Freddy’s house because most people consider it “his”. Even though it isn’t. That being said some are of the mindset that it may have been Freddy’s pre Thompson family living there and even refer to it as such in 4 and 6 I believe. Although I always also found it a stretch that it was his because of the timeline. I mean they burn the guy to death then move into his house? Awkward...
Hi there thanks for the comment. Im actually satisfied with the views compared to some of my other videos. I’m not super niche on a topic so it’s a slow burn for my RU-vid journey but I know it’s something that I’ll never do full time. I just like making stuff, learning new skills and hopefully sharing something cool with someone. Regardless of the view count I hope you enjoyed it and make one of your own!
