Some milk is some milk, people are so ignorant and rude! Obviously you pour until you get the consistency you prefer! Anyways, I just made these but I cut my bread into sticks for my kiddies and they loved them! I didn't need to use syrup or any other topping because it was sweet as is. Thank you so much. I keep burning my french toast (i use a pan) The pan only seems to be cooking the sides, im using pretty thick tiger bread slices as well. I do flip them like every 10-15 secs until browned, I sprayed oil onto the pan like you did at medium heat but the oil burns out and its smokes up the entire kitchen. Got any tips?
Black Cancer if you are using an electric pan like hers or whatever it's called you shouldn't be spraying no sprays on it, especially non stick. I just use butter on it and I have no problem also I would suggest turning the heat a little lower than medium too as well and make sure the pan isn't too hot!

Listen now..... I made this French toast for the first time today. When I tell you that mixture is super freaking genius!!!!!!! My son kept saying how good it was and he never says that about the French toast I usually make. see how the cinnamon floats.... and thier is lumps of cinnamon... for better results get lil of hot water then put the cinnamon and mix it then put the rest of ingredients 😉😉😉
I've never seen so many people not be able to make French toast. This is like the easiest fucking recipe in the world, people you have to adjust the ingredients to your sizing don't use six eggs if you're only making 2 pieces of toast, don't use a gallon of milk if you're only making 2 pieces of toast. My god you all are weird
some people like me are from other countries where French toast isn't a dish that is made by a family member but because persons want experience different cuisines they try to learn thereby following various youtubers that gives instructions as to how to cook the dish.... so don't judge because I'm sure there are dishes you can't cook ok
+Silvia J Well, she said thick slices of bread, maybe your slices were thin, if you use thin slices, i think the bread has to be stale, dry, so when you dip it into the egg mixture it will absorb but it won't be squishy.

Made it this morning and it was a HIT!! Replaced butter with olive oil, somewhat of a healthier option, but came out so good! Made your gumbo earlier this year, now I have to make it for Xmas lol
