You are too funny. But, stating facts!! Me personally don't understand why they categorize food glitter with craft glitter it doesn't make sense to me. so you're absolutely correct it pays to read everything! I love that you don't talk unnecessarily and you're just straight to work, which is a plus. And your berries are absolutely beautiful!❤️
Commentary got me dead about the throat closing up lol. But thanks for clarifying !! What edible glitter brand do you recommend ? That is FDA approved?
I love that you mention bout using that “edible glitter” I almost bought some on amazon but I read the reviews so I chose not to buy it . Do you anything bout the brand fancy sprinkles ? If so can you reply ? Lol incase you already have a video on it !
Hi ! Thank you so much ! And I actually have some of their prism powder ! And I like it a lot . It does Stain when wet like if it gets on the surface of your work space . But I absolutely love it it’s beautiful. And I don’t have a video but I think I will go ahead and make one .
@@whatscaken7575 l am making them for Valentine's day just the first step and l wonder how much would you charge for a dozen. I have made the white chocolate and dark chocolate before for my family.
Lmao! Girl I love you and want to subscribe just based on how real you are... something you don't find on the Internet too much these days! 🙄 We all know there's THOSE types of people who will complain over anything so your comments really just made me laugh. Ohh and these are gorgeous! I've got a question though... Maybe a weird one and I know this video is old so idk if you're still active... But does the glitter have a taste? Like does it feel like you're chewing up glitter? Lol. (You can clearly tell I don't bake or make desserts, right? LMAO!) But I've actually got some edible glitter... Just because it was on clearance. I'm a sucker for the clearance aisle. Lol. And we're getting into strawberry season. So I love, love, love this idea. But I'm weird about tastes and textures and so is my daughter. So that's why I was wondering about the consistency and taste of it. Thanks!
Hey, I love your technique. Just to clarify....the glitter you used is non-toxic but you do not recommend eating it? Or is it OK to eat BUT you just recommend the edible glitter?
It’s not FDA approved, but it is safe to use for cake decor it is none toxic. I don’t recommend fully submerging a strawberry like this video and selling it to someone unless you explain to them what it is they are eating is (technically) not suppose to be used in the way I did in this video, bc it’s not FDA approved .The reason I used this glitter is to inform whoever I can that might make the same mistakes I did when I first started using (edible glitter). When searching edible glitter disco dust will come up. But I will make sure to do a video with (disco dust) vs (Tinker dust).
Is there any particular reason you microwave your chocolate rather than in a double boiler? I ask bc I been doing it that way for forever but I’m seeing no one else do it this way. The strawberries were beautiful by the way
Hi ! It’s more convenient for me using the microwave method, I started off using the double boiler method as well, and later on got introduced to this way of doing it, I’ve been doing it this way ever since. thank you so much !💜
Try fancysprinlkes.com they have a line of edible glitter that shines just like this and it FDA approved I get a lot of my products from them. I also buy from the sugar arts.com their edible dust is FDA approved also
I have multiple times when I wasn’t knowledgeable about the glitter ; you don’t taste anything. I would recommend using an edible glitter these were just for fun, but I still ate them .
Yes I actually Didn’t know until I watched your video last night. I ordered these I believe a week ago. Amazon is wrong for bringing that up when you search for edible glitter.
Your absolutely correct ! And for a while I thought it was edible until I was corrected and did further research . So now look for tinker dust that is also sold on amazon . It actually say that it’s edible and also FDA approved .
No it isn’t . This glitter I used only for the video . The disco dust is not edible it’s just non toxic . But a lot of bakers myself included would think that it is without reading and research.
Girl sitting there recommending you eat crafting glitter like it isn’t carcinogenic 😂 All glitter is microplastic unless made from sugar. Good luck with your ailments later in life.
