Hi 👋 I hope you enjoy these salsa verdes! They are spicy ! You can always add less serranos, more tomatillos or substitute jalapeños for the serranos! Marlen #SalsaVerde#GreenSalsa#
The final salsa is a salsa I’ve been trying to find a recipe for for a LONG time. Feels like it’s in most taquerias but I could never find a recipe for it…. That is until the fateful day I came across this video. I just made it and it’s amazing. Exactly what I was looking for. Thank you so much!!! About to eat tacos this entire week
Good morning to all the Garlic is the best if you eat it Raw/Limon or with honey if you have it against the parasite also Energy tooo have a wonderful day or night 111322❤❤❤
Yes thank u so much for posting this. I’m a witness that this salsa is fire as well. I was very tempted to put cilantro and garlic but I didn’t. And I’m so glad I didn’t. It was very good. Def my type of sauce!
You’re welcome! You know what I like about Salsas? We can always add or subtract ingredients to make them to our liking :) you can add the cilantro and garlic , but the flavor is going to be different - probably delicious too just a little different 😃
Salsa #3 is the salsa I've been trying to make for years and failed. For all my H-Town folks, this is the closest salsa recipe to the ones in those taco trucks and restaurants. It's amazing, best recipe on YT. THANK YOU!
Thank you for posting. I've been looking for the 3rd recipe and everybody told me it was the avocado recipe and I knew that was wrong because it doesn't turn black like avocado does
the 3rd one is my favorite.. I too always thought it was made with avocado.. just moved to Maine from Texas, I realize I'll have to make my own as they've never heard of it here... thank you
I've made the first two before (or something close to them, roasted tomatillos vs boiled tomatillos), however, the third one is completely new to me. I'm definitely going to try it the next time I make salsa, which will be very soon! As far as what I would pair them with, I would say grilled fish (salmon is delicious with tomatillo sauce) or grilled chicken are the first to come to mind. Thank you for sharing your recipies!!! Yummm 😁
Thanks for sharing your recipes! I've been trying to replicate the smooth green salsa I get with my tacos, down here in Houston. Awesome 👍 Edit: The smooth sauce is really good on burgers and grilled chicken as well
Thank you so much! Your last serrano sauce #3 ( the one thats your favorite at the moment of this video ) I've been trying to perfect. It sounds silly but I'v found myself so stressed out over it. Im in love with chilis ( Mexicans salsas & sauces period! )and especially SERRANO! I think you've just made my world! I appreciate you so much. Thank you again! 🙏🌺
#3 is what I been looking for!!! Many failed in attempt over the past year. I'm really glad you let us know that it was really spicy in advance therefore I only did 4 serranos, and just 1tbs of bullion but other than that was absolutely amazing!!!!! I would like to store for longer periods do you know about putting it in the freezer or ways to keep it longer ?
Thank you 😊 ! You can always use jalapeño peppers too . You can add a bit of white vinegar so it lasts maybe 5-6 days in the fridge . I’ve never store salsas in the freezer so not sure if the consistency will change .
Saved the best for last. The one we've all been looking for lol. I got tired of spending $12 to buy salsas every week so I'm gonna start making that last one and the Chile de árbol salsa. Looks so damn good I'm excited 😆
On my to do list. So simple and that last one looks just like avocado and because of a medical condition I can't eat avocado so I'm excited to try this, YAY Thanks
Salsa #3 is the one that looks like the one i like, 6 serranos, 2 tomatillos, onion, 1.5 tbsp of chicken bullion, 6oz of oil....., I'll try it your way first, if it's not I'll probably do this but add garlic, maybe sour cream, But this looks like the consistency i like from tepatitlan restaurant here in Houston, same color and creamy look... Thanks!
The oil is what gives it the creamy color and you can make it the consistency that you prefer just add more or less of the oil - yup you can add garlic :)
The final salsa I made, and it is extremely delicious. Thank you for your demo as I followed along. (One observation/adjustment? I think you mentioned 6 oz olive oil. I looked at what your mini frying pan looked like, and used about 2.5-3 oz olive oil. I put about 1cm high in a small skillet. I think next time I will use 2-2.5oz. Hopefully I am not wrecking the recipe in reducing the olive oil amount. I watched the amount it looked like you were using.) I would start small with the bouillon as it is very salty, but it does add that extra flavor. It is a very delicious salsa, and I will continue to make it. (It freezes well, too!)
I will make the slowly roasted Salsa Verde I think that's the most healthiest I don't need the extra oil in my diet or synthetic chicken cube and I like that it has texture slow roasted.
I use little black pepper, cumin, and Mexican oregano (not Italian) in my salsas. I also roast my jalapeños and tomatillos brushed generously with olive oil and add that oil with it in the blender
@tom nook - Hi there! Yes they have different flavors and textures. The first one has a fresh flavor because of the cilantro , the second one has char flavor and the last one has a creamy consistency- because of the oil - my fave for tacos 🌮
For Salsa #2, does anyone know if I can torch them with a kitchen torch or should I stick to cast iron? I wanted to see if I can speed up the process a bit
@@Marlen2527 I'm in New Mexico. Are you aware that Colorado is arguing that their chillies are superior to those in New Mexico! We are close to a civil war here! If it comes to this New Mexico can count me in! Boy, I need to learn how to cook.
@@Marlen2527 So my wife made it and it's literally PERFECT. Thank you for this. I've tried to find an actual recipe before and never came close. My wife is mad that I keep bugging her to make more because I already smashed the first lol. So she thanks you for that lol.
I love your recipe especially for the creamy salsa that looks like avocado, but can you specify is it white onion or yellow onion that we need to use and also the oil what kind of oil should we use canola olive oil that would help us a lot to get the exact flavors that you’re wanting us to produce that would be critical to this recipe. So do you mind let me know cause right now I got like 2 pounds of tomatillos in about a half a pan of jalapeños in a pan of Serranos in a bunch of yellow and white onions and a bunch of cilantro and chicken bouillon I’m ready to make it but I would like to know the oil and white onion or yellow onion please please please pretty please let me know soon I’m waiting till I hear from you so thank you very very much God bless you your family and friends and I pray to the Lord Jesus Christ to bring you lots of love peace and prosperity for your family and friends and remember the most important thing of all according to the Bible in the book of revelations there’s only a handful of prophecies left in the book of revelations. So my sister please if you know somebody that needs to repent repent so they don’t parish away in hell with the devil so repent if you need to and invite other people because eternity is forever and ever made all the glory go to Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior and God our God of Abraham the true living God. ✝️✝️✝️🇺🇸. @@Marlen2527 well I want to tell you something it came out perfect very very delicious I just ate like 4 ounces of it and my mouth is a little bit on fire but that’s OK I like them hot ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. Want to say thank you so very much keep making your videos excellent recipes thank you God bless you your family and friends and don’t forget Jesus Christ is coming very soon.✝️✝️✝️
@@Marlen2527 …..for the 3rd salsa, you said 6 ounces of oil??? It looks like you used waaaay less. It’s 1/2 a can of soda. Then when you add it to the blender cup it is a little bit
It’s a total of about 6 ounces . When I start to cook the serranos I add the majority of the oil . You can add more or less depending on the consistency you’d like for the salsa .
@@Marlen2527 …….. thank you. I made it EXACTLY to the recommendation on your video and my VERY PICKY son LOVED IT!! He posted a pic on his tik tok thing. Yay, I’m a cool mom now ❤️ thanks Marlen!
