For a lazy jello put some frozen berries in a bowl and cover with water just off the boil then pour over some gelatin that was mixed with water. Takes about 2 minutes. Better than juice. Delicious and easy.
I bought 3pc of Mineola Tangelo orange squeezed them exactly 1 cup. 1 tablespoon of Bernard Jensen's gelatin. It was perfect. I didn't add any sugar just few dices of fuji apples. Thank you for this recipe - we loved it 😋
Mama Natural, not only are you GORGEOUS, but INTELLIGENT as well! I was expecting the recipe would be something like 1/4 cup sugar, 1 or 2 tbsp. of gelatin and fruit juice, you just reminded me that mostfruit isnaturally sweet,so the sugar isn't needed. Thanks for sharing pretty lady, favorite jello flavor growing up, gotta be Strawberry banana, followed by black cherry, 🤤👍and lovin' the cuteness overload at the end! 👶
Skip the pans and other containers: mix the gelatin with a measure of boiling water in the a Pyrex dish that you will eat from. Add fruit (frozen or fresh), zap it in a microwave if it looks murky, add an equal measure of cold water, cover with clingfilm, refrigerate and eat straight from the bowl, just like that toddler. No spoon, minimal wahing-up.
I tried it with 1 32oz bottle of organic concord grape 🍇 juice & the gelatin formed clumps in the juice (I used 1 c. Liquid to heat up & add the gelatin to). 😔 I strained out the lumps that wouldn't blend in even when pushed against the side. I cleaned out the pot & added some of the strained liquid back into the pot & put it over low heat to warm the liquid & once warmed, I sprinkled 1 tsp more gelatin & whisked it in, it dissolved well & I strained that into the rest of the liquid & poured it into 8: 4oz. Molds & I'll let them cool slightly b4 putting them in the fridge. I hope this comes out well. No one else seemed to have any trouble. I wonder if it's because of the humidity 🤔. S. Florida 🏝 ⚓ ⛵ 🏖 here. Thanks for the recipe ❣🙋♀️
@@mamanatural They came out really good. Now I know to sprinkle & stir the gelatin in 1 Tbsp. at a time & slowly. 🙆♀️👍 Thank you for replying 🌈❣ They even set up quickly too.
Bernhard Jensen...wow, that bought back childhood memories. Was a personal friend of me ma & a very nice man.. Put us on our health journey 50+ years ago before it was popular - (did i say 50 OK 60) ;) (plus). Nice vid. Thanks
Thanks for the recipe can you make this with any other juice, I don't have a great intoralance to orange juice,I was looking for a recipe for jelly,as you said alot of junk is in the store bought jelly,it's good for hair nails and skin,I'm in my sixty's now so I need that extra help greetings from dublin ireland Patricia obrien 🇮🇪
Starting to use gelatin as a source of glycine as I believe the manufacturing process used for isolated amino acid supplements reduces their overall bioavailability.
Fruit punch is bad for your liver any juice loaded with sugar. I have a bad liver have done pluny of research stick with the jello you buy from the store
I made a watermelon one and it was pretty good. I decided to make a pineapple one and it never hardened. I have added more gelatin and more and more. Still in the fridge since yesterday today I added one more teaspoon. And if it doesn’t get hard I probably have to toss it… so sad😢 What happened ?
I personally do not recommend honey as a replacement for sugar, typically when people look for sugar replacements it's to help in weight loss while still eating their favorite recipes. And althought on paper, with honey being 1.5 times sweeter than raw sugar, you'd be able to use less of it and as a result have a smaller calorie intake from the sugar. That doesn't really make it a better option for weight loss as honey is mostly composed of fructose, and fructose isn't really much different than glucose but your body can only use glucose so it will have to transform the fructose into glucose in the liver; which in some cases makes fructose a prefered option for blood sugar levels. But when it comes to weight loss it's not ideal because if you consume too much fructose, your liver won't be able to convert it all into glucose and will instead be forced to transform it straight into fat instead. Another alternative sweetener that i think is great would be sucralose, sucralose is a disaccharide derivative which is 600 times sweeter than raw sugar and is also badly absorbed by the digestive system (so not only do you need to use 600 times less sucralose than you'd need sugar, but you'll also poop most of the calories straight back out), i'm aware that there were some concerns about sucralose a few years ago but all of these concerns have been laid to rest by further research and it's 100% safe for use
Stevia is another great option, but we aren’t talking about using honey as a sugar substitute for weight loss in this video ♥️ we’re suggesting it particularly as a more natural substitute for refined white sugar.
Actually not..the last study on sucralose says that it will affect your DNA.. The researchers found that sucralose causes DNA to break apart, putting people at risk for disease. They also linked sucralose to leaky gut syndrome, which means the lining of the intestines are worn down and become permeable. So not a good idea..
I'm not afraid about me I feel bad about the animals. Gelatine is not healthy even if it's coming from a healthy cow. There are other options to make jello
Is this how civilized people from wherever you're from ask for help? If you're not experienced enough to measure gelatin powder by volume, you say "please" and "thank you" when asking for someone else's help measuring it. Elementary kids know this, why not learn too? ❤
