4 cup idli rice and 1 cup urad dal or 2cup idli rice and 2cup normal rice and urad dal 1 cup,half cup sabudana washed and soaked for 6hours drain water.tske 1 cup cooked rice or any poha/avalakki mix altogether and blend with less water.pour into dry vessel cover overnight next morning add salt and mix and cook in idli stand for 10 to 15 min. U will get soft idli without soda
Really soft idlis came. Everyone discouraged me to grind together all the ingredients...but i was too lazy to do that. I tried...and the results are wonderful
