Hi Steve - I'm reading Dean Butler new autobiography and he writes about you - he writes that you were his understudy in West Side Story and he didn't dare miss a performance - as you were 10 times better than he was! Writing your voice is "beautiful" and you were always upbeat & positive 100% of the time.

Hi Steve. Just discovered you as I was prepping for my Newsies audition. I’ve watched most of your videos by now, and am a huge fan! Thanks for this amazing insight and advice! I hope you do more of these videos! Congrats on an amazing career. Your words remind me of my favorite idiom: “Talent is often perseverance, misinterpreted.” Thank you maestro.

@@SteveBlanchardStuff Hi Steve… I wanted to follow up… I was just awarded the part of Joseph Pulitzer in Newsies. I admit, your example was a guiding light for my interpretation. I can’t wait to dive into the part and make it my own, but I was so grateful to have such a dynamic example available in your performance videos when doing my research. Thanks again Steve!

Congrats Gulliver! Thank you. Remember to be the nastiest S.O.B. so that the hero(s) can conquer. J. Pulizer really wasn't, but you have to be in this piece. In the end, he sees himself in Jack. A kid with nothing and trying to make something for himself. J.P. came to this country with not a penny, slept on park benches in NYC, didn't speak the language and became who he became. Kick ass!
