I just wanted to say, I am new to your channel and am loving it! You have a great personality and your gf or wife is such fun too. I came here after RU-vid suggested your channel off of a Maangchi video- I think you two cooking together would be a show on its own!
Awesome Amaranthim!! A warm welcome 👋 to you to our Neighborhood 🏡!! And a collaboration with Maangchi .. oh that would be awesome! I would need to come up with a cool nickname like Maangchi tho. Maangchi means 'hammer' in Korean - haha! Maybe Dolsot... 🤔
I love the way how you measure your veggies. Hilarious! It works though. Not only that but you have recipes that are easy to make, but good food and most of your videos are short unlike others. You get to the point.
I get in the mood to watch Korean recipes, and your vids have been showing up on my sidebar and I just wanna say they are great!! Just as mouth-watering as the legendary Maangchi's videos. :) subscribeddd
I have just cooked this banchan for my son without any꽈리고추 but tastes so good. I hope my son likes it with his rice. I love your 장조림 though. Looks amazing!
Your video was just recced to me and... WOW! I really love your videos! They are so easy to follow and you are hilarious and entertaining as well. My boyfriend is from Korea, so your channel has seriously helped me come up with some new recipe ideas!! Love Korean food and I'm excited to try all of your recipes!!
I love that grandma pot! I need one of those as well as a stone pot. Great recipe Daniel. I can't wait to try it! Sorry to see that Winnie the Pooh had to be sacrificed for the enjoyment of this dish. Sacrifices must be made when deliciousness is being created!
That's right! One pooh bear for every jangjorim!! haha, I got this ceramic pot from Katie's mom. It was hiding in the crevice of one of our cabinets but its become my go-to in some of these stew. Moral of the story: Never judge a pot by its decoration!!
Just made this a couple of days ago- and my husband and I already demolished the whole thing. Smh. Next time, I’ll need to double, maybe triple the recipe if I want it to last at least a week! Lol. Flavor is SO good- love the ginger in it, and SO glad I went the extra mile to find the shitake for it. Definitely a 밥도둑 for me. Lol. Thanks so much for sharing such a delicious recipe of this!☀️
I recently discovered your channel and I love all your videos!! They are simple and easy to make at home especially for a non-Korean like me who loves homemade Korean food. 😋🧡
Wow your subscribers turn in to 9000ish now! Congrats! Such an organic but solid growth. Happy to see it growing stronger. Always love how you choose your words and edit the video! Simple and fun to watch.. Keep it up a good work!! 😍😉
Hi Daeshina!! It's been a while ;) Yea, this last couple of videos ... all of a sudden started to climb quickly 🚀 Maybe RU-vid's algorithm like our Kimchi Style!! Ha - thanks for the early and continued support!!
Hi! I just subscribed after youtube suggested banchan breakfast. You two have such pleasant personalities on top of a channel with good editing and of course delicious food. I am looking forward to future content:)
Where have you been ? Just discovered you Daniel ! Love your channel. And your voice, so calm, sincere and funny ! Love your hand gestures and jokes that comes with it, lol !!! You're easy to understand and follow. Subscribe. Looking towards more videos and great fun work, peace ! Thanks
Shaunlee Shaun! Big boss, im glad that you are enjoying them. I too am having a blast sharing K-food recipes. I learned from my mom the hard way. I wanted to try to make it easier for the global community haha
Ahh thats great to hear! I use a portable stove for filming the videos. Our kitchen is stuck to the wall, so my back would be turned to the camera. One day, we will upgrade to a better kitchen ;)
I've been binge watching your videos today! Unfortunately I noticed that many recipes include sugar, do you have any alternative I could use (honey or stevia for example)? I have Crohn's disease so I have to watch my sugar intake :/
My mom has been making this with jalapeños for all of my life (I’m 49) and even the Korean grocery stores sell this with garlic and jalapeños….is this just a US thing?
What's with Asians getting rid of the meat smell? Why do they do that? Does it smell bad?I really don't understand where that comes from. I'm not trying to stereotype but I've only heard Asian people say that.
