I just made this recipe last week. It has become part of my Sunday prep. It turned out great. Made biscuits with the same recipe. Thanks for keeping it short and simple.
Hi Aaron, thank you for this fabulous recipe!! I have just tried it and can’t believe how good this keto bread is: it doesn’t even taste eggy at all! You are my hero! For anyone struggling with the quantities, I used 64 gr of flour and 115 gr of butter.
Thank You for sharing this recipe, lovely job on the filming and cuts. I love that you explain why you’ve made some of the choices you’ve made, like the silicone pan. I can’t wait to try it.
I've been doing a few things with this - I have been baking it in a glass rectangular dish in an air fryer, works surprisingly well. Last night I made one wanted to make it a little sweeter - I added some artificial sweetener and coffee powder to the mix. Came out with an interesting and vague flavour of sweetness, I'm going to try a stronger coffee flavour next time around. Makes it into a kind of "pound cake" as it were.... This of course isn't for cheese melting or anything unless you want to get weird (or you're Heston Blumenthal)
This recipe is amazing. I just had the best peanut butter and jelly sandwich ever. The possibilities are endless, sandwiches, burgers, hotdogs. We can have our bread and eat it too😋 Thank you so much for this video 💞
Aaron I noticed in the video you used melted butter and in the written recipe is just says butter. Thanks for this bread recipe and I can't wait to get to baking!!!! So appreciate all you do to share your knowledge with others. I am a FAN!!!

Mine looks like a block of cement! Didn't rise. In fact, looks like it shrunk. Universe's way of telling me I shouldn't be thinking about bread on keto 🤣
Just made this. Mine turned out tasting and looking like corn bread, It's also crumbly and dense. I really like corn bread and I think this would be a great substitute for that. Unfortunately, not what I was going for. No idea where I went wrong.
Has the consistency of pound cake, not actual bread. That being said, this would make as a great recipe for a Keto pound cake provided Vanilla and some sort of sweetener is added.
I know right? But when u use coconut flour u need lots of liquid and eggs. This keto bread recipe actually has the least amount of eggs Ive seen. Others have used 6 but I've even seen 7. I can't justify that for a small loaf of bread.
I immediately subscribed after watching this video! Not too long ago, I made this bread again but with your recipe, so I'm excited to see how this turns out! I am a keto beginner and am learning so much; your channel will definitely be one I tune into for ideas and recipes. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
I am a professionally trained pastry chef and I followed your recipe to the letter, sadly the bread did not turn out as you described. It was eggy tasting, did not rise as your bread did and was very salty tasting😳. The only thing I did different was I used a glass bread pan lined with parchment paper vs a silicone bread pan.
i'm also a pastry chef and i make a lot of egg-heavy portuguese pastries. A neat trick to remove eggy taste is to remove the "skin" of the yolk, the pelicule. Mine is baking right now i'll let you know how it turns out.
mine turned out ok. The egg taste is there but not overwhelming,it is a little salty. I think next time I'll increase the eggs, keep the same salt and beat the whites to see if it gets fluffier. I did put a little baking powder in mine. This is basically a soufflè with extra stuff.
Is it really necessary to use salted butter. I use unsalted butter in my baking recipes. What part of the egg do you use if you separate them, the white or the yolk I would love to make this.
TriniHoney You'll need to experiment if replacing whole husk for powder. If you don't want to use psyllium or can't find it, you can replace it with xanthan gum but this is definitely not a one-for-one substitution. It's more like 1 teaspoon of xanthan gum for 2 to 3 tablespoons of psyllium.
The recipe looks great but you have not listed or said anything about the carb content per serving. Could you please? Or how do we figure it out? I'm all new to this keto thing. Today is my day 2 and I'm dying for bread:(
Hi Aaron, thanks for the recipe. But in my country we don't have coconut or almond flour in the market. I have raw coconut instead. Can I use fresh coconut paste instead of flour?
I noticed on the newer recipe that you used half as much salt and didn't use Baking Powder. What difference did it make? I'm also wondering if using some flax seed meal instead of X-gum would have the same effect. Obviously not for folks who don't like the taste or texture, but I'm okay with it. But it makes the dough very gluey-gloppy. What's your experience with flax seed meal? Thanks!
Hi, I tried baking coconut bread. The bread turned out really salty because of the sodium content in the coconut flour. If salt is added, wouldn't the bread turned out even saltier?
I made a similar one to this recipe from headbangers kitchen that had psyllium and it tasted like crap! SMELLS like burnt eggs..is it really good tasting???
