Thank you for your kind words. They are much appreciated. These particular strips were ½ inch at the wide end cut down to a pointed taper at the small end. If you wanted them even larger, you could definitely make them 1" at the largest end instead of ½".

If you are referring to the bead roller size I use in the video it is a 3/16. If you are referring to the sizes in the set I can list those too. Just let me know.

The strips are 12" long.

If you are in the U.S.A. you can go to Etsy and do a search for paper bead rollers. A lot will come up. If they don't list the length, message the seller and ask them or ask them if they can make the size you need.

I use Elmer's Glue All as an undercoat mixed with water 50/50 ratio. For my top glaze, I use Judikin's Diamomd Glaze, also mixed with water at a 50/50 ratio, and I dip all my beads strung on a fishing line and hang to dry. I put my undercoat and diamond glaze mixtures in 2 separate quart canning jars with tight fitting lids for storage between dips.

Thank you for your kind words and tips! Yep, I've made them that way too. Used a solid strip under a printed strip. I've tried a glue stick with my strips and I am not a fan of it. I use a little extra glue when I glue the tapered tip as part of my undercoat. Although, I have seriously been thinking of getting a precision applicator bottle. I've made all kinds of beads with many types of papers and combinations of them. If you are interested you can see more of my beads I've made through the years on my Pinterest page. I'm listed as Looming Crafty Fiber Arts there too. You're right about the possibilities of creativity is endless with paper beads. One reason I love it so much as you can be as creative with them as your heart desires!

I've never had any problem with threading beads rolled with bead rollers.

If you go to Etsy.com or Amazon.com and do a search for paperbead rollers you'll get some choices from different makers. However, in my opinion Cbar5creations on Etsy.com and www.paperbeadrollers.com/ have the best professional rollers. I own a set from cbar5creations on Etsy.com and a few rollers from paperbeadrollers.com and I love them.

Stacking strips as shown in the video makes a thicker, larger bead. Depending on what you use to roll the bead, the diameter of the roller or otherwise, you can achieve some really nice large focal beads. Thickness of the paper you stack will also play into how large the bead will be.

You can use paper beads to make all kinds of things. Jewelry, bowls, other containers, embellishments for clothing, beaded curtains, ornaments, frames for pictures, covering for more ergonomic pens, pencils and other hand help implements, decorative ends on icord, coasters, I've used paper bead discs to make whorls for my yarn spindles to spin wool, really anything you can imagine.

The width of the bead is determined by the widest end. In this video, I cut the widest end at half an inch down to a tapered point. I got my paper rollers on Etsy.com. If you go to their site and do a search for paper rollers, several will come up.

For my personal preference in dipping my beads, I feel Glue All coats them better and gives them a more uniform look after they are glazed. Of course, this is just my personal opinion.
