This video will show you how I dip my paper beads to make them sturdy, hard, and water resistant. This video was made back in 2018 and archived from the paper bead videos I had stored on file. Thank you for sharing your tips and tricks. I have just started making beads… I am using my watercolours that didn’t quite turn out - 140lb or 300lb making lovely thick beads! I have a folder full of art that I m going to make into beads. I really enjoy having something to do in the evening while watching a show. Take care - you have helped many - those who are negative must have been absent from school the day we were all taught to keep the nonsense to ourselves 😉

Thank you for showing your ideas. I'm learning. Just started paper beads. I have just come up with an idea to use glossy accents to put a shine and harden. Plus I put glitter fingernail polish with glitter. Just for the heck of it!!

Your accent sounds like you are from my area or my state which is NC. It is refreshing to me to hear someone talk like where I'm from. I have always told my boys to be proud of where they come from, it stuck with my youngest but I'm not quite sure what happened to my oldest except that he watched a lot of Thomas the Train when he was little 😆.

You can drill out the bead if the hole gets clogged up. Thank you for sharing. What weight string do you hang them on?

Learned so much watching this tutorial. Wondering where you purchased the Glue All. Did you mix the Glue All with equal part of water? Thanks so much. I agree paper beading is super fun and relaxing.

I bought my Glue All on Amazon's website. My ratio of water to Glue All is half and half. I pour half the glass jar with Glue All and the rest with water. It's always worked well for me.

With the Diamond glaze or triple thick, do you also thin with water and dip in similar way? Sorry, couldnt find follow up video. Enjoying your paper bead tutorials, they are very helpful

Thank you! Not at all. As long as they are fully dried, they will just snap apart with no issues. I like to leave mine to fully dry at least 24 hours.

There is no issue with PVA glue. Elmers School Glue and Glue All are types of PVA glue.

What is the name of the diamond glaze you use and other alternative glazes?

It is called Judakims Diamond glaze. The only other one I have ever ever used is Triple Thick.

A white PVA glue will work.
