Molasses in silage is mostly to kick start the fermentation and doesn't play major role after the bacteria has established. There for 2% of the total wight of the silage. Mix the molasses with water to effectively reach most of the material
The molasses is only there to feed the bacteria until sufficient quantities of them are established in the biomass. It’s pretty much anaerobic fermentation and the sugars speed the process up.
Assalam aleikum w w. Thanks so much for the efforts you putting in to see other people developing. My question is you alway talk of syncronising what do you real mean by that term?
This is awesome Hamisi I am planning to get into goat farming and the knowledge I am getting from this channel is awesome. What is the name of that machine you are using to grind the maize

Interested in selling during the long dry season. How can I best package the silage @ low cost. Ist possible to package without the use of vaccum machines of which is expensive.
I'm growing maize for silage. There are pests on the maize in it's early stages. Is it okay to spray( pesticide) the maize..wouldn't that poison the goats?
