Good video! Taylor - my Australian husband and I moved to Mexico a year ago from Australia and he is just starting to study data analytics but has alot of experience with accounting support for large corporations. Are there any agency websites you found particularly useful in finding online work? He has his own company and would work as a contractor remotely into the US since he doesn't have a green card. Thanks!

Hi! I’m just curious about your transition. How exciting that must be. I’m also curious about people who actually find non-remote jobs in Mexico and how easy it is for them. (By the way, I work in the same industry as your husband. I work remotely in the US, but they don’t hire non-US residents or I would offer to get him connected.)

Taylor. I am a very healthy 77 yo living now in the GTA part of Ontario Canada (Oakville). I have spent much time in Mexico, but it has been years. (I can still speak a little Spanish.) I know I am not a CODER, but I have been trying to get the most menial of jobs for years unsuccessfully. I retired from the Real Estate business years ago, and I'm now bored, but I do not owe anyone any money and have about $52000 banked, plus I own a (guesstimate) $24000 Cadillac. What can I do, especially in Mexico? (I am planning on CDMX for dental work very soon.)

At home, could you drive for Uber. I have driven for Uber part time in NC from my late 50's into my 60's. Not sure I would want to depreciate a $24,000 car doing that. My cars have started at USD 14,000. You could look at all the possibilities on Upwork. I have been thinking about copywriting/proofreading, but it depends on your individual skillset.

I am in the process of studying for my CELTA certificate. I know the money is not great, but not pursuing teaching for the money. I didn't finish my degree years ago (life kinda happened). I am hoping to be able to get some experience while we are here.
