I’m a new subscriber and really appreciate your instruction. I’ve looked around to see what your next steps are regarding the actual fruiting of the fully colonized blocks. I don’t see it. Do you have a video in this? I’ like to know what you do with the block…..cut the top off? Make slices in the bag? Do you place it in a fruiting tent….if so, at what point? Humidity, lighting, temperature, etc.? Thanks again for your help.

ahahah oh gosh! i totally put 5 pounds of dry hwfp, then added water. Didn't realize that the 5lbs meant 5 pounds including water. Thanks for clarifying this! I wonder if my massive blocks will still work? I PC'd them for 3 hours, but still... i'm wondering if the heat could penetrate such a big block. I'll try it out anyways.

3 hours should be fine, I've done grain bags that big in 3 hours and sawdust is way more forgiving.

I wouldn't use soyhulls and hardwood pallets on oyster mushrooms. Just use straw and coffee grounds, both cheap and readily available. U can use the hardwood and soy combo for shitake.

Oysters grow great on sawdust blocks. And blocks take up less space than buckets. But ya both methods work great

However I think if ever tried psilocybin, I'd go with coco coir, vermiculite, perlite and a pinch of Pete moss and gypsum 73 degrees you're welcome Goodluck
