- 0.08" thick plexiglass
- Plexiglass cutting tool
- X-ACTO knife or box cutter
- LED strips
- Hot glue
- Solder/soldering iron

- LEDs - Minger RGB LED strip lights 16"
- Paper - standard art paper
Trapezoid shape used to house the controller:
- Top edge - 6.5"

This is not difficult and I admire your effort but this is the exact reason I paid 200 bucks, hung them up and called it a day.

i mean yeah the real ones look far sexier but i just wanted something cool for the background and its a fun project

@@NathanLewisVideos it wouldn't matter it they were exact replicas, I'd feel the same.. Like I said, I admire your effort. When I was 16 I taught myself how to install my car audio system. I wouldn't get caught paying someone to install a system in my car for many years. Fast forward to now and there is no way I would install my own car audio. Thank you for your video and keep doing whatever makes you smile!

@@cokergx3 Back in the day it was a car stereo. A few plugs, a few wires, an amp and decent speakers and you could call it a day. Now every stereo is a computer wired into the car’s… everything. Change the stereo, without doing it exactly right and the whole car won’t work.

Can I blame you if/when my house catches on fire because you recommended "thin wire" (22g in your example) to join the LED sections together. You do realize that the LED strips can carry as much as 10 amps. Table 310.16 of the NEC, the source for wire size to amps, states to use at least 14 gauge copper wire. Please do your research before making recommendations that might burn someone's house down.

Most peoples LEDs are 12V 2.5A or 24V 5A. Also wouldn't that voltage be spread across the 4 lines? As long as the cord from the power supply to the LED controller is standard, it should be safe right?
