This paper mache was inspired by Bengal, Abyssian and Sokote cat breeds. You can make it for Halloween, just paint it black. My first intension was to make it black but after searching many cat pictures I decided to add some color.
As always I start from making a basic shape from newspaper, then start to form a shape with toilet paper rolls and cardboard. Packing paper was used to even out a surface. Then add more cardboard and packing paper. Eyes are made from cabochon glass. Modeling clay was used to shape eyes and nose. Use real cat pictures as a reference. At the end I redone eye color because there was a spot where paint peeled off of the glass.
Materials: newspaper, painters tape, hot glue, toilet paper rolls, cardboard, packing paper, white universal/school glue, cabochon glass, acrylic paint, air hardening modeling clay.
