Ingredients for Vietnamese Peanut Sauce
1/8 cup of Vegetable Oil
1 tsp of Minced Garlic
Half a bottle of Hoisin Sauce
2 Tbs of Peanut Butter
1 Tbs of Sugar
1 Cup of Milk
Direction For Peanut Sauce
1. Place 1/8 cup of oil in the pot and mix it with 1 tsp of minced garlic and mix till lightly brown(On High Heat)
2. Next put in half a bottle of hoisin sauce and combine together and (Put on Medium Heat)
3. Then put 2 tbs of peanut butter and continue to mix
4. Next add 1 tbs of sugar and 1 cup of milk ( Put on Low Heat)
Mix Well and Served!

finally! I've been using this recipe that was a top google search, and it's always awful. I didn't realize how little peanut butter you needed in relation to the other ingredients. Duh, now it makes so much more sense.

This sauce is really yummy and reminds me of how my mom made it. It’s good with shrimp and pork roll. My husband likes it with Nem Noung roll. I add chili ot to it to make it spicy.

I've made the peanut sauce 3x & it comes out perfect I use a little more peanut butter but that cuz I like the taste...ur recipe is easy to remember too.
