Oh my, those are the cutest things I've seen come out of a Cricut, I love them! I am a new subscriber and a new-er Cricuter, thank you all of your tutorials have been really thorough and clear! Going to order supplies and get hopping for a craft show I have in September - yep, preparing FAR ahead, lol!
I'm so glad you enjoyed this project, thank you for letting me know! Good luck on your craft show! If you have any questions as you are preparing, please let me know. I'm always happy to help.
Love them! I have been following along with all your projects but ran out of smooth white faux leather. Stalking Amazon delivery and its coming today!! My Joy doesnt cut the pebbled well. Penguins for this morning!!
Thank you for all the wonderful earring tutorials. I can't wait to make these earrings myself. I'm waiting on Amazon to deliver my white faux leather. These are going to be great little gifts for the girls in my family (and me too of course).
Hi Amy. I love your designs of earrings and have made several of them for my self, daughter and granddaughters! I'm having problems though trying to get the penguin pattern for some reason I can't even see it. Your page keeps saying coming soon. I have tried several different times and for about a week. not sure what I am doing wrong to not get it to even show.

Love love love them! I was just telling my sister-in-law last night that I was making candy cane earrings and she asked me if I could make penguin earrings (we both live penguin) and I told her I would try to find a template. So happy to see today’s project is penguin earrings!! Unfortunately the black faux leather is on back order so will have to wait to make them. Can I do the same thing with genuine leather? I’m new to Cricut and have not tried yet but do have black leather
Hi, Cathy! Thanks for your message. I checked early this morning and both the smooth and the pebbled faux leather are in stock. However, if you want to try these with genuine leather, you can certainly try it. You'll need a Cricut Maker to cut genuine leather and the knife blade. Here's a link to a post on my blog where I show how to cut genuine leather with the Maker: amyromeu.com/how-to-make-leather-earrings-cricut-maker/
@@AmyRomeu Thanks so much for your reply, I had left my message before looking at your links (I had tried ordering black earlier before this video) so I did click on your link and ordered the black! yay! I will get it next week and will definitely be making these adorable earrings! I am just loving your videos. Just took my gingerbread boy and girl from under the book and added the ribbon :)
Hi, Lissa. The purple mat really is best for faux leather because it's very sticky. You can try using a green mat though and see if it works. Just trim the material small like I do and tape it all around with blue painter's tape. If you are going to cut a lot of faux leather in the future, you may want to invest in a purple mat. They are very handy and can be used with lots of cutting materials!
