How To Make Perfect Lemon Curd #shorts
▶ Ingredients
˙ 4 egg yolks
˙ 140 g granulated sugar
˙ 1 tbsp lemon zest
˙ 85 ml lemon juice
˙ pinch of salt
˙ 86 g butter, room temperature
Instructions:
Place egg yolks, granulated sugar, lemon zest, lemon juice, and salt into the top pot of your double boiler. Whisk until completely blended, then continue to whisk as the curd cooks. Whisk and cook until the mixture becomes thick, about 10-12 minutes.
Remove pan from heat. Add butter and whisk. Pour curd into a jar and place a piece of plastic wrap directly on top so it is touching the top of the curd. The curd will continue to thicken as it cools.
