YES! This is super helpful! I've got a history of making bad snowboys and then crying when they tell me I didn't do a good job! Also, why cant the ones with the tiny body be the perfect ones? lol

Hi, I am from the Southern Hemisphere and had been making snowmen throughout the lockdown period. What determines a perfect snowman is the ratio, you do not need the body to be so large. The ratio just needs to be right. I found it easiest to build a perfect one is... Firstly, kick a ball 13 times until you start rolling it. stop, do not roll it further. That is your snowman's head. Second, repeat the kicking on the second ball, however, this time, roll the ball so it is roughly 20% larger than the head. Thirdly, try to put them together. If they do not stick and push each other around, gradually increase the size of them both while keeping the body roughly 20% larger. and the snowman is tiny but it's MUCH easier to judge the size when they are tiny. I cut down the area where my mushroom farm was. I wish I could fill it with xmas decorations, but gotta leave it blank to get snowballs. And by the time I've got all the diys, it'll basically be xmas :P

Yes that is frustrating when this kind of mistake happens when ur trying to figure out how to do something that has to be done a certain way or you at a loss for important thing and that u only get one shot at! Did the channel owner ever admit that she meant the bottom of ur villagers ears? If not I hate it when the channel owners make a video and then never answer comments that ask them questions concerning the video, like they make the video then fall off the face of the earth.

I think it's mid-ear/bottom ear? That's what I always do, top ear is too much and you can easily get it wrong (at least in my case)

It might be difficult to make the bottom perfect snowball if you have different in game eyes, so if you could find another trick for that, it would be helpful :) thank you for the video!

From what I’ve heard, just make the bottom ball as big as you can.

I found out this works Drop 10 things on the ground in a straight "line" (make sure to "drop" them) each dropped item space is 1% of the snow needed. Now find a snowball & push it back & forth near that "line" 10 times to make a 100% ball of snow. Hope that helps anyone

*Might have already been said, but useful tip:* if the head of your snowbois gets slightly too close to the same size as the bottom snowball, rolling the snowball over walkways/pathway designs (excluding custom design pathways I think??? If anyone knows pls comment) will shave it down in size :)

What if you have multiple people playing on your island? Will you still only have one snowboy per day? And if so, will the person who made it be the only one who gets a large snow flake, or will all residents be able to get one?

if you have alternate accounts and have already built your perfect snowboy for the day, have said alt accounts talk to it anyway. You can't build more of them on one day, but you WILL still receive a random frozen DIY. This only works on day 1 though. All other days, only the original creator of the perfect snowboy can still get large snowflakes.
