Great info thanks Sean, l have built one 3m x4m mini greenhouse using plastic conduit...you are right. One storm and it was flattened. Bought a steel framed one 2years ago, but there was inadequate fabric to bury underground. Plastic was also loose, cheap chinese stuff, zippers on doors (l kid you not), it lasted a season, got shredded in a few storms. Now l want to cover it in shadenetting, looks like l must dredge up some sewing skills😂

You mentioned the shade percentage and colour. I'd be interested in hearing the details on which to chose. I've got about 800m² of mostly fig trees that need a new net, and best I can tell is that I need 20% white.

Is there a chart available with the different colours, percentage shade and actual shade?

Observation. He keeps saying buying an paying for installation. Just learn how to do stuff and do it yourself, no need to buy a kit, it's simple manual labor. If someone can't learn or figure out how to design and build from the ground up, then they would be best served in never considering farming at all. 20% of farming is building and fixing things.
