Here's how I make press-on nails and package them. The set I made for myself is 3 weeks old and still kicking. I have taken them off and reapplied them only once. I am ready for a color change.

Sis.... So I hear a random voice coming from my phone, look up and notice that my son got ahold of my phone and somehow came across one of your videos and he pressed play. Nah after my silly self sat & watched the whole video lol I sat the phone down & walked away. when on a website there should be another way to size your nails! for instance using tape a marker and a ruler you can place the tape along your nail, the mark where the sides of your nails are, then measure in MILLIMETERS and give it to them and they should be able to convert it to nail sizes :)

Charlene Sweets yes! You sent them one of each nail size. The nails are so cheap that that would be less than $1 of your product. They will then communicate which size fits each of their nails.

What do you include with the nails to make them press on ? Cause I’m someone that when they buy press on nails by the time they have glued all 10 nails on like 5 minutes later one pops off

What?! Wrong glue! I wore mine for 3 weeks with Kiss nail glue! They do have to be applied correctly. I have videos on my “nails” playlist applying them with stick ons and nail glue for best results!

@@tresstoimpress4224 see I apply the nail glue apply the nail from cuticle to tip press down on them as hard as I can for 5-10 minutes and then they pop off a couple of hours later if I’m lucky when I’m going about my daily business .

cvynthiia you would need to ship one of each size to the customer before starting and allow the customer to choose the size for each finger for the best product with the least complaints/returns. The nails are super cheap so factoring that into the total cost does not add much money.❤️ thanks for tuning in!

Hello, I will just ask for your advice because we are planning on opening a press on nails business but we don't know how to measure the lengths on each nails. For example, if the measurement of the middle finger is 17mm, what should be the measurement of the thumb and pinky? It will really help us if you responded. Thank you!

Everyone’s hands are different. Some ppl’s pinky nails may even be different sizes on each hand. The best thing to do for custom sets is to send the client one nail of each size before starting and let the client choose a size for each nail. Include this in you overall charge and file client nail sizes for repeat customers. This also eliminates complaints from the customer about size of the nails.

Heyy, how do you size the nail bed for costumers? Like if they aren’t in person?

You would need to send your customers one of each size and let them size themselves for best results. That would add to the total cost of the set. Keep a record for repeat customers! The only other option I know of for best results is letting your customer measure their nail bed in mm from side to side and matching the measurements as closely as possible.

D Rock ship one of your nails of each size and let your client choose for each nail. The nails are super cheap, but you can factor this into your overall price for the service.

It doesn’t smell to me now, but it did the first use. You should definitely wear a mask whether the smell bothers you or not.

Hi there. Pretty clever substitution for clients hand btw! Is there any way that I could do this without using the whole nail tip underneath? Using like a paper mold and sculpting the entire press on nail? Would the acrylic adhere to whatever I sculpt it on? Or maybe it could be done better with gel. (Probably every body knows the answer to this...😕😁) but I totally know I could do this. I once got a full set of watercolored beautiful nails in the mail & outta nowhere (delivered to wrong spot & not a surprise gift from a secret admirer ☹️). Did I return them to the p.o......? 🤔🤨 Well.. back to my question. I want to be able to do exactly like the ones I’d gotten.. I tried to look up the salon, but it’s in California and doesn’t offer these nails on their website from what I could tell. Is there anybody that’d tell me what I need to do to skip using the fake whole nail tips, to be able to sculpt the entire nail? Possible to do with acrylic?? Or could I better accomplish this using gel. OIbviously I need a little more experience ...but I’m sure you know. thank you so much for your time!

I found that they looked too thin with just gel polish and I wanted them to look more like acrylics which are a little bit thicker

Oh okay. well I really like the look of them being clear, or “transparent” rather, through and through, with the exception of water colored dots. And they were perfect in thickness. The were not made from a fake nail or tip. Just straight acrylic or lots of gel maybe. But thanks so much for responding. I kind of figured something like that...with the rubber hand model or several gel coats. I’m trying to recreate the press on nails that I loved for a friend, possibly others who would like to buy. I’m going to try what you said about the dip until I could get a rubber hand. My hands have been swollen for a few yrs now & I have no idea why. And I quit everything with nails because I was so disappointed and discouraged and I didn’t want to draw attention to my hands any longer. They are still swollen unfortunately. I’m not sure if the cause or treatment of any kind...so, I’m just lately feeling like I’d like to start doing them/getting them done. im really good at doing stuff like this, so many ideas and options any more. I really want to do them on my own. (Btw Yours turned out so pretty). Thanks again guys!

Send them samples of each size in advance and let them fit themselves. Include this expense in your overall cost. Keep a file of sizes and names for repeat customers!

I thought this was a really old video because you're using skewers for a makeshift hand. Why not order those nail display stand? They're only a few dollars each. Probably even cheaper in the U.S
