Hi Cailin Tunnicliffe! Although preservatives help prevent mold and bacteria growth, they do not prevent milk from spoiling. So, even with a preservative, that mask will have a shelf life of just a couple of weeks, a little longer in the fridge. If you plan on selling the mask, you can mix the clay with some powder and sell it like that. Then, you can instruct customers to mix the mask with milk per use. Hi Mia Shope! That question is a bit tricky to answer! Natural is not a regulated term, and can mean different things to different people. For instance, our shea butter comes from a natural source. However, it is refined. Because it's refined, some may not consider it natural, while others may. What works for one person may be a bit too harsh for someone with sensitive skin. It may take a bit of experimenting to find a recipe that's perfect for your skin. I would like to make a face mask (to sell) out of almond milk, rose clay and rose essential oil. Can I preserve the almond milk, and if so what paraben-free preservative would you recommend?

Why did you skip using the preservative? I know many preservatives need heat but does phenonip work when added to body scrubs when they are cold?? Or do you need to heat up your oils and add it before adding everything else?

This may sound like a stupid question, but what's the proper way to sterilize the bowl and utensils? Boil in water for 10 min? Also, do you sterilize the container you put the scrub into, and if so, do you sterilize it the same way?
