SALAD:
• 5 ounces baby arugula
• 1/4 cup shaved parmesan
LEMON VINAIGRETTE:
• 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
• 1 teaspoon lemon zest
• 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
• 1 teaspoon white wine vinegar
• 1/2 teaspoon sugar
• 1 clove garlic, crushed
✅Instructions

1️⃣ 00:01:07 - In a large salad bowl, toss arugula with shaved parmesan.
2️⃣ 00:00:19 - In a small mixing bowl, whisk together lemon zest, lemon juice, garlic, vinegar, sugar, and olive oil.

Very good, I also added very thin sliced pears, so tasty. We don't have sugar instead I used figs spread and red wine vinegar.

Wonderful recipe. I made it tonight. I love the bit of sugar to even out the acidity. And the Parmesan shavings take it over the top. I have a very good Italian restaurant by me that makes it the same way. Thank you bc now I can make it myself!

I load mine up with bacon chunks and quartered hard-boiled eggs with caramelized scallions Vidalia onions and purple onions and I make an oil and vinegar Dressing for this. (Add sea salt, ground pepper, onion powder, basil, oregano, a touch of fennel, a few chili peppers. 1 stevia.) SERVE WARM with Italian Bread. YUMMY♥️❣️

I have to give credit to this sauce. It's so simple and taste delicious🙌. I don't have fresh lemon so I use lemon juice, it taste very good. Next time I will buy fresh lemon to try. Thank you for sharing your recipe

the sugar in the dressing. that's how to take out the bitterness. but i eat greens to get healthy so that defeats the purpose. i'll turn to kale instead

@@Thestayathomechef I doesn't look like parmasan cheese at all. Wrong color, wrong texture, maybe it's ok to call that parmasan where you live. But here when you say parmasan it has to be parmigiano reggiano... I'm not saying it's not tasty cheese, all i'm saying is it probably most definitely not parmigiano reggiano ;)

Well when the label says parmigiano reggiano I am just not sure what to tell you. It’s hard to tell color and texture from a video isn’t it?

​@@Thestayathomechef i could be wrong ofcourse, but the texture looks much smoother than a parmigiano, and the discoloration at the end of the cheese looks way more yellow than it should be. Maybe this is a younger type of parmigiano than i'm used to, i just didn't think parmigiano was exported this young. Parmigiano i know would flake a lot more and would consist out of lumps. The texture of this cheese is closer to a Gouda than a parmigiano. I just looked it up and i found out that it is ok to name a cheese parmigiano in the US even if it is not made in the region where it is originally from. In Europe it is not allowed to call a cheese parmigiano if it is not from Parma, Bologna or Reggio Emilia. So essentially this could be a cheese with a similar flavour as a parmigiano, but produced in the US or elsewhere. Anyway's i didn't mean to offend you ':D, i tried the dressing tonight and it was very nice, i'm going to make this dressing a lot more this summer. :) Thanks for the Recipe.
