How to make Rift Stove

Rift stove is capillary powered and minimal sub-room type Open-Jet Alcohol Stove. A smaller sub-chamber(sub-room) reduce primer time of the Open-Jet. Idea of capillary came from Jonfong57-san. Idea of strip form skirt came from JSB-san.
リフトストーブは、毛管現象を利用して副室を極小化したオープンジェット型(副室加圧型)アルコールストーブです。毛管現象のアイディアはJonfong57さんから、短冊状スカートのアイディアはJSBさんから来ています。
I tested 10 or more pattern, but combination of 16 rift and 16 jet has the best balance.
10数種類の組み合わせを試験しましたが、16リフト16ジェットが最もバランスが良かったです。
This system is very easy and effective than Vapor Turbo system. Try this!

Years ago, I used to watch these videos alot, like binged them over and over daily. Eventually I stopped and completely forgot about it Today I randomly remembered this and spent all day searching as soon as I heard the music I knew I found it. Subscribed and hopefully won't lose this page again.

Genius. Excellent design and very good performance. Some of your viewers apparently don't see the value in recycling trash into useful things. This is among the best alcohol stoves I have seen. Thank you.

Yes, thank you! I used steel wool which made a crude finish, but it worked. This was my first attempt at making an alcohol stove...it didn't go too well, haha. I split the bottom piece, twice! I'm not much of a craftsman, but I'm sure I will succeed the next time. Thank you again for your videos. I'll let you know when I am successful!

I have tested burning gel sanitizer and the gel itself coagulates in the stove becoming very gunky. If you want to use your fuel as a sanitizer as well, you can buy 100% ethanol which is what stoves need, nothing diluted with water. However to kill bacteria for your skin the alcohol prescription is around 70% if stronger you will be burning your skin away. One reason the gel helps as it moisten your skin as well as disinfect but if your read the label is should say the alcohols percentage.
