I watched your 1st video and it was good. This video is very good because of the nice up close shots. We are able to see the details which will help when we try it ourselves.

I like your technique and explanation very much. I have a brand new blending board handcrafted of several beautiful hardwoods by CF Mercantile on Etsy . It was a gift from my husband for Christmas along with a matching packing brush and dowels. I'm a felt maker and wanted something more than hand carders to blend my fibers. Thank you for the valuable tips.

What a great tutorial! 👏🏼👏🏼 Your instructions were clear and with excellent explanations. Especially enlightening for me was the “texture, technique, and color” segment. Thanks so much!

No.. continue with natural colors. There are many blending board videos and they all have really bright colors. I was glad to see one with natural colors.

I’m having such trouble with my blending board, I know it’s probably just me and I need to get used to using it. But when I go to remove the fibre on the dowels, I can’t remove it from them it’s so tight!! Is there a trick I’m not getting it maybe I’m drafting too much? I’ve tried drafting and then letting it go slack before rolling again but nothing works!!

Which way do the wires or tines lean? Away from you or towards you? Thanks for the easy lesson.

I will try your method on my carding machine. Instead of creating one large rolag I will break it up into many small ones, I think it will improve my spinning and drafting. The thin rolags look nice an even and should make handling them easier. I also put my dowels top and bottom, your method of putting them side by side looks better to get an even rolag. Will send you my testing. Thank YOU.

I can't wait to see you spin the rolags. Additionally, I would like to see you go through all of the stages of making the yarn to making a project (if time permits)...

Super informative as always, now I need to add a blending board to my wish list. I always look forward to your content. Edit: i have a couple of questions. 1. What is the benifits of rolags over other blending techniques? And 2. Is there a size recommendation for rolags? You said you dont like sparce ones, and that you'd get three from this board. Why not just make one big one? (I guess that's three questions) 😁

Great volume this time but the video was a little off. Thanks for showing how to make rolags.

Stephanie Knipper just keep taping. I love your videos. They are so clear and helpful. I made my first rolags last night! And spun two of them...
