Today I'll be showing you step by step how to make foaming hand soaps using the new natural liquid soap base from Sixteen Seventeen! I'll be making one with only fragrance oil and one with fragrance oil and mica powder to get a beautiful shimmering effect!
These foaming hand soaps would be great for candle makers looking to add soap to their business but don't have tons of time to make cold process soaps etc! Or great in general for any business looking to add foaming hand soaps to their shelves! Recipe To Make 1 Hand Soap:
6.4 oz distilled water
1.6 oz Natural Liquid Soap Base
.08 oz (1%) preservative of your choice. I used Optiphen Plus from Wholesale Supplies Plus!
**Add 2-3 percent fragrance of your choice, shake vigorously, and enjoy!
**We recommend calculating your fragrance load based on the amount of Natural Liquid Soap Base used, rather than the weight of the total recipe. For example, because the above recipe calls for 1.6 oz of soap, a 3% fragrance load would equal 0.048 oz (1.36 grams) of fragrance oil.
