Easy sewing tutorial on how to make a shopping grocery bag from a feed sack. Make sure to wash the bags inside and out with warm soapy water and then let them completely dry. Feel free to comment any questions.
9:05 baking soda takes smells out and is something most people already have on hand. There are spray recipes where you boil water, dissolve in some baking soda and maybe 2 drips of dish soap to basically make you own Febreeze. But for this, I'd just wet a sponge and add dish soap and a heap of baking soda at the same time and just let your plastic sit there all sudsy for an hour or more if needed.
Hi Connie- It’s always nice to see when you post a video. This is a cool project. I’m sitting here watching you (while I hand sew hexies) and have my phone propped up on my phone holder. I made it from your tutorial a couple of months ago. I use it almost every day. You always come up with such useful tutorials. Tfs! 🤗🤗
Nice 👍🏾 so what type of thread did you use n what size needle 🪡 did you use, because my bag has a hole not really a hole but the stitching came a loos thanks. 🙋🏾♀️
Love your idea of using food sacks! 😊 I'm gonna have to ask a friend who has animals. Maybe I'll ask for 2 - gift one to them, and have one for myself.
