one thing that sucks about these great food videos is you always crave what you see and you can never get it haha... So you know what I did? I had some pork fried rice, beef teriyaki and crab rangoons that I ordered tonight and hadn't eaten yet, so I started watching fried rice vids here on youtube to get my appetite up and now im actually eating the awesome food im craving from watching these vids! Ive outsmarted the system.
omg! This looks PERFECT!! I'm so hungry!! But I have one question.. how do you cook that rice you used in the recipe? I love jasmine rice, but it never turns out as I want it. Can you please tell me how you cooked it or link me a video? :D

Jasmine rice Directions In a medium saucepan with a tight-fitting lid, combine rice, 1 1/2 cups water, and 1/2 teaspoon salt and bring to a boil. Stir once, cover, and reduce heat to low. Simmer for 18 minutes. (Do not lift the lid or stir!) Remove from heat and let stand, covered, for 5 minutes; fluff with a fork and serve. Hope this helps. Happy cooking-Mai

Ok wish me the finest, I'm conquering this recipe today/ I made my rice yesterday allowing it to dry out/ in place of peas in using fresh beansprouts/ variety of meats ham cubes/ sausage / pork/ & shrimp ...this will be BOMB & I've chosen your recipe techniques after thorough research because you're very genius @ this ahhh ok ill be back with results :-)
Folks, do not skimp on the day old rice, she knows what she is doing. I make my rice in the morning and then put it in fridge to cook later on for dinner. This is a VERY important step! Freshly cooked rice will not turn out right. Great recipe!
ok i realized after watching alot of fried rice videos what i was doing wrong i was adding oil as i went along thinking the oil was the main factor of the fried rice to keep it seperate however it's about having cold one to two day old rice ahhh got it!
I'm going to add some chopped mushrooms and crispy shredded duck. I also might try making a fried egg to place on top of the rice instead of scrambling it - Thai style?
