My mom made two of these dresses back when the pattern was a new release in the 60s. We were headed to San Antonio, Tx for Hemisphere 68. Central air was not yet standard, and she wanted a couple of cute cotton dresses that would be comfortable and stylish. She wore those dresses for many years!

Hi! Just wondering if it would be possible to cut the front pattern on a piece of fabric that is folded in half in order to avoid having a seam down the centre. Would that work or no?

It says "Jiffy". I'm wondering how long it actually took you from start to finish? Did you have to do any fitting?

Why do you pull & knot the thread instead of back stitching please?

I made the size 6 but the bust darts came out so close together :/ I don't know where I went wrong.
