HI EVERYONE! I just posted a STICKERS PART 2 video that is (hopefully!) more helpful than this one 🙃- ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-D45g0CodvxA.html Thank you always for watching & supporting!! 💕💕
Hi Amy! Not sure if you know this at this point, but instead of screenshotting your sticker and re-uploading as an image, you can just flatten all of the layers and it automatically turns it into a print then cut image :)
Hey! Just a shortcut (I believe), when you’re about to do the print, you can actually change the number of stickers on each sheet instead of having to duplicate inside of design space!
This was a very helpful video but you went way to fast on your applications on Design Space. I was not able to follow much of how you did the slice and all of the alignments. Thanks for the info where to buy the sticker paper.
Hi there, yes I agree that this video was WAY too fast. It was one of the first video's I've made on my RU-vid channel and I have made other sticker & print then cut videos that were slowed down. As much as you are learning, I am also learning too as a beginner RU-vidr!
I DONT EVEN HAVE A CRICUT YET AND I KNOW HOW TO USE DESIGN SPACE....( kinda) I FEEL SO ACCOMPLISHEDDDD THANK YOUUU! (its not all from this video but u helped more then you think!
thanks for the video, i legit was about to return my circut because i couldnt figure out how no to cut my logo and only the outside shape!! great advice! gained a new sub!!
If you don’t have sticker paper, use double tape, adhesive runner, silicone, or hot glue. It depends on what you’re using tbh. Some for right away application, and the tape for later on use. Just put on the tape after it’s cut! And design space is still good without a cricut to print the sticker sheets and cut them by hand!
Next time bend your mat and keep the sticker paper flat on your desk and pull and you won't have your stickers curl. The mat is meant to be curved for that reason 😊
I'm learning to make stickers & have already made a few mistakes.... Lol but that's how we learn! Your video just MADE MY DAY & I am so relieved to have came across you! Thank you 💗💗
OMG girl you are the best 💗💕Been watching your video like the third time now, after all the videos I have been watching, your's was really helpful 🙏💗Thank you
My cricut keeps cutting out the letters on the stickers and not around the circumference of the sticker. I uploaded an inkscspe svg. Duplicated the stickers and placed them where i wanted them. I then grouped them all, attached, then flattened. Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong?
Did you know that if you have 1 and then say make it and up in the left corner add more it will do it for you instead of having to duplicate them in DS?
Amy, thank you so much for the tutorial. I tried but when I click on make it, doesn't give me the same range of the whole sheet of 8× 11. How do u get critcut to take advantage of the whole paper size??. Thanks.
So what I do is upload a square and change the size to 6.75x9.25 (Thats the biggest it can print and cut) I then upload what i want to make as stickers and make the images fit inside thar square I then delete the square and make sure you attach all your images and thats it I can usually fit 12 of the 2" stickers on a sheet
This is great, but it still won’t let me do it. In the “connect machine” section since I only have a joy, a message pops up saying print & cut is not compatible with the joy. Then when I try to bypass that, it won’t load my printer until I connect a compatible device. Idk what to do at this point.
Hi Noelle, I believe you cannot do any print then cut projects with the Cricut Joy. I mention this in my "Print Then Cut 101" video along with the other requirements you'll need to make stickers, cards, etc. The sheets need to be an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet (or around that measurement) and the Cricut Joy cannot scan.
Love this video! I spend at least $50 a week on ordering stickers for my candle business.. But now I can learn to make my own, what will I need to purchase to do all of this all together? The Cricut machine? I’ve got a computer and printer already..
Oh my!! You most certainly can use the Cricut for your stickers, you'll save so much! I list all of the products and what you'll need in the video description!
Hello, I have the Cricut Maker but I do not have the Washi tape setting. would you mind the settings you have on that custom setting please. I've always try to cut stickers but the blade goes through the backing paper. thanks!
Hi, I’ve just watched this video and I’ve done exactly what you said and got to putting the picture in my Cricut maker and put the material type as the washi tape and it’s saying material incompatible, I was just wondering if you had any idea why?
Hi Darlene! I'm referring you to my slice tool video here -- ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-8S01TbnPie4.html I also explain it on my blog as well!!
Hello, watching here Filipino from Japan😇i followed the steps you shared but my cricut says incompatible for the size😥it needs to reduce size to 6.75 X 9.25 on mine. What settings should I do to fit the 8.5 X 11? I hope you notice me🙏🏻Thank you
I purchased a Cricut a few months ago and have made a couple shirts but I can’t figure out how to use it completely. I’ve had issues with it not cutting through my heat transfer Vinyl completely and I don’t know why, I have it on the right setting. I am a crocheter and would love to make my own stickers instead of ordering from vista print but I am trying to find a way to use canvas in design space to draw and cut on sticker paper then once it cuts its done. No layers no attach and rejoin, grouping or printing from a printer. Is that possible?
I love the colors that are in your logo. I’m also opening a small business through Etsy for stickers. I was wondering if any printer can work when printing out the stickers on label paper
Hi Rebecca! Some stickers can have an "offset" or white background, but this is up to you! I explain that method in my "how to make stickers part 2 video" :)
Some of my designs are getting weird dots along the outline in design space. They don’t show up in my design or anywhere else until I’m about to print, and then it’s prints them. Any suggestions on how to fix it? I’ve looked everywhere and can’t find any way to fix it 😭
@@AmyMakesThat Right!? It's a PNG file uploaded from procreate. I make die cut stickers, so it's showing up on a few along the outline and I'm not sure why
unfortunately yes :( I am posting a new updated stickers video in 2 weeks and I explain a little trick to make more stickers fit in the square -- but that is Cricut's limit. The border cannot be removed since that's how your machine aligns the paper and knows where to cut the stickers!
Hi! This is an old video - I’ve made several other sticker videos that are much slower like my “print then cut 101” and “how to make stickers 2” and more! 🤎
Can you do this on your phone ? I know it will be more work and possibly not as much stickers but will it be worth it to get one with a computer right now?
hiii,, im new to the cricut machine and ive been having trouble getting my stickers to cut exactly how I want them. ,, how do I fix it? the cut is misaligned// off if that makes sense.
You’ll have to make sure when you’re placing the sticker sheet on your cricut mat that it is aligned correctly. The cricut will automatically go over everything to see where the stickers are so it can cut properly!
Ive been asked to make some id stickers for my hubbys work can this be done with same way an what would i use to make them more weather proof/glossy does your printer use much ink doing stickers thankyou
Hi I hope you see this. But my question is eyes you print out your picture or stickers how do you get the circuit to cut them out? Does it scan it or do you put the dimensions?
I explain all of this in the video! When you select an image as a “print then cut” it will automatically scan it before it starts cutting so the cricut knows :)
thank you sm! and yes I am using the inket (link in video description!). I remember when I was learning I had to rewatch some videos but with practice, you'll get it!! xoxo
Do you use the stickers to seal your packages? Or are they for customer use. If so do you cut the circle out for them so they know what part is the actual sticker? If that makes sense.. lol very helpful video
hey, girl gey! just found your channel, love your tutorials! It is really helpful! so happy to find your channel. I just purchased a Cricut and I am so scared but super excited to learn what I can do with it! Also, I have been watching other RU-vidrs, if you flip your mat over then peel the stickers off it won't curve! ❤️ Could you make a video of how you do your doormats? I look forward to watching your videos!
Nope! When it shows the first step to print, you’ll select which printer you want it to print from, insert the label paper into the printer and let it print the design! I explain all of this at 3:33 in the video.
Amazing video! Do you have issues printing glossy stickers with your cricut? If so, how do you get the cricut to work without having to make a new border to cut the glossy paper? With glossy, the cricut can’t read the black border/margin.
Oh wow! I don't have an issue with glossy stickers, mine always reads the black border so it cuts it. Try purchasing the one I use from amazon (link is in video description!) and see if that works!
I am a newbie and slow. Thank you for making this video. I am trying to learn. I have gotten frustrated in the past and ready to throw my machine out the window. I purchased it a little over a year ago and have only been able to make one simple project that took me hours to understand and follow the lingo. I did notice that you did some steps and did not mention what they were and I wouldn't be able to tell what they were. Thank you again for putting out this video.
