Yep I made it!! I fixed the frosting without the cream cheese cuz it makes me constipated. So without it, it was like a strawberry glaze over the cake. Really good! ❤️💗

One piece of yummy German chocolate cake with coconut pecan frosting left. Will be making this cake next. Monday if it's raining. If not, Tuesday for sure, but in a square pan. Easier to store. It could be strawberry, orange, cherry or raspberry. I like to be prepared. Can't wait. I share with my neighbors as I could never eat an entire cake.

It's really amazing, my family loved it and they asked me to bake it every week. I will try it with orange jelly. My Oven got a little crazy so it took an hour, it's a little dry, but it didn't tire

Hi it looks like you always use vegetable oil for your cake recipe? Is it the same amount if i use butter or margarine? I love your channel and your recipe too. Always easy to follow. Short duration and very detail. Thanks for sharing

I like to use vegetable oil when the cake has to be refrigerated because it remains moist and fluffy. Butter solidifies when chilled, and this causes the cake to become denser after refrigeration. But you can use the same amount of melted butter instead of vegetable oil. :)

Hi, I tried the frosting. The milk jelly and sugar did not become pale and soft peaks did not develop. Is that ok ? What should I do about it ?

i love how you didnt try to get the most aesthetically pleasin cake (pre-frostin) and used it despite the cracked surface. Yea, that happens sometimes and some foodtubers will instd make a few takes to get one that looks good on camera just so they can look like theyre gettin it perf. Naw, it happens and it doesnt hurt the end cake at all cuz you still end up with the same look once frosted.

How is 2 1/3 cup equal to 300gms? Plz clarify whether the cup or the gm measurement is correct.

2 + 1/3 cups. Each cup of flour weights 130g. So it's 130g + 130g + 43g = 303g. You can make this recipe using a measuring cup (8fl. oz - 240ml) Or a kitchen scale.
