You've put in your description that your base is orange juice however you use pineapple juice. You might want to correct that. It is a fantastic meal though - I cooked it tonight. The sweet and sour sauce is delightful.
They actually have another fried tofu recipe that has a sweet & sour sauce that does use orange juice. I've made that version & it is incredible. So, I imagine the pineapple juice just gives it a different tangy flavour. In this recipe they use pineapple chunks as well. I suppose they just mixed it up when they wrote it out in the description, but I think using OJ or pineapple juice would be fine.
