Majkl shows us in this video how to make an authentic tartare steak. The best that you can use is a piece of tenderloin, cut into small tiny pieces, add fresh ingredients and you have a wonderful appetizer.
Ingredients for 2 portions:
250 g beef tenderloin
2 spoons of grated onion
2 egg yolks (you can substitute with a spoon of mayonaise)
1 tablespoon of chopped capers
1 tablespoon of mustard (Majkl prefers Dijon mustard)
2 chopped pickles
2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1/4 teaspoon of freshly ground pepper
1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon of tabasco sauce
1/4 teaspoon of cognac
2 tablespoons of ketchup
