In today's video, I'll show you how to make the dark 'n stormy! This is the unofficial drink of Bermuda and the international boating and sailing community. Essentially, it's a rum highball. Only two ingredients are called for (with the optional lime garnish), but the rum is what makes this simple cocktail complicated. You can't just use any old rum. Legally, as of 1991, the dark 'n stormy has to be made with Gosling's Black Seal Rum or it must be called another name. Just the same, I wanted to make a variation using another rum including an allspice float. We can just say this is a rum buck (a buck is a base spirit mixed with ginger ale/beer and citrus). Either case, they'll both be delicious!
