This time, we're going to show you a classic summer dish of wrapping pork belly around okra, a delicious vegetable, and making it into teriyaki...
Please learn this delicious sauce that will make the dish taste amazing.
It's a seriously delicious sauce with a sweet and spicy, refreshing flavor, so I think it's worth learning just for this.
I've also shown you an easy way to prepare the okra, so please check out the video and try making it!
This can be used as a side dish for your bento, and of course it goes well with rice! It's also great as a snack to go with alcohol, as it has a strong umami and flavor.
So, here we go!
I'll show you how to make okra with pork belly teriyaki.
Ingredients: 6 okra stalks, 6 thin slices of pork belly, 1 tablespoon soy sauce, 1 tablespoon mirin, 1 tablespoon sake, 1 tablespoon sugar, 1/2 to 1 teaspoon wasabi, and a suitable amount of potato starch. Directions: 1. Rub the okra on a board to remove the down. Peel off the calyx. 2. Wrap the pork belly around the okra and coat with potato starch. 3. Heat oil in a frying pan, arrange 2 and fry until golden brown. 4. Add the sauce made by mixing dark soy sauce, sake, mirin, sugar, and wasabi, and mix well. 5. When the sauce has almost boiled down and is mixed together, it's ready. Okay! Done! Teriyaki wrapped in okra and pork belly is an easy recipe to make and a delicious way to fight off summer fatigue. The sauce has a sweet and spicy taste with a refreshing wasabi flavor that stimulates your appetite and makes you want to keep eating, so please try making it once. Thank you. It's okay to eat a lot!
